Beautiful New Cottage 50 Minutes North Of New Orleans In Country Setting

Cute little cottage that was perfect for our trip! All of the necessary amenities available — cooktop, air fryer, toaster, Keurig. Pullout sofa with extra sheets and pillows. Coffee with creamers and sweetener. Clean, quiet, and safe. Thank you!

When we got there is hadn't been cleaned feom the previous occupant but i called and she sent someone over about 20 min so we went and ate but when we returned everything was clean very nice and quiet

This may be the most restful, lovely weekend my husband and I have had in a long time and this sweet, little gem of a cottage was the crown jewel in our getaway. The cabin is next door to the hostess who welcomed us and then left us to our privacy. We had everything we needed with some treats included. The property sits at the end of a rural road nestled in a wooded sanctuary. The picture window in the cottage’s living room looks out over the woods, some outdoor chairs and grill, and a gazebo with a wonderful double hammock. We saw wild turkeys and a fat little brown bunny. Perfect peacefulness. And the cottage is located within minutes of Covington, Mandeville, Madisonville, and Abita Springs (not to mention New Orleans about an hour away). We definitely plan to return and secretly hope no one else will discover it so it can just be our own private getaway. Lol! Thank you, Wendy, for making our stay so enjoyable.

Although this cabin is on the same property as the owners home we felt like we were out in the woods most of the time we were there. Wendy was wonderful, she greeted us the first day and told us about the property, after that we were accompanied by the squirrels, birds, deer, raccoon, and turtle that visited. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. I will definitely be visiting again.

Charming little cottage, loved the property. It is very serene and quiet. The kitchen had several small appliances which made cooking easy. Close to town but very private and peaceful setting. Would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was a delightful stay, you get the impression that you are in the woods, but you are minutes away from shopping, restaurants, etc. The cottage itself was perfect for two adults, and roomy enough that if we wanted separation we had it. It was extremely cool during our visit so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities, but we will definitely be back for another visit. I highly recommend the cottage.

Absolutely wonderful space and perfect setup

Perfect place to stay for 1 or 2 people. The neighborhood feels safe. The cottage is kept clean and it's comfy. I've stayed here several times now, and well be back.

We were very happy with our stay. We were unaware that there was no stove but we made do. Very beautiful setting and seeing the deer was amazing

This place is nice. We will stay there again. We were in town visiting our son and his family, so we really just slept there.
