Stayed Aug 12, 2017Eric and his family really friendly and helpful. Great peaceful location with fantastic swimming pool amongst olive and fig trees, well maintained with good furnitire and lovely views over the forest and hills where you can see eagles flying around ! Road system is a little hairy at times and not best signposted around Nice ( 10 miles) and La Trinitie ( 5 miles) where Auchan is the nearest big super market. Cottage is about 2000 metres uphill with 8 or 9 hairpin bends away from Contes , so no easy morning/ evening stroll for food or papers...... but a small price to pay for such an excellent holiday.
