We had a great time at our stay on Hubbard Lake. The owner lives right across the street so he is there if you need anything but never once made us feel as if we were being watched. I have stayed elsewhere where we felt as if the owner watched us the entire stay. This was not the case here! We had a great time. If I had to be picky and complain about something I would say it can get a little warm in the cabins with no ac but it was over 90 our entire stay. Also, the parking is very limited.
A true Get away Rustic, basic, yet totally comforting. Nice!
Overall property was well kept and as described. Definitely a bargain for the price. John, the owner was very friendly and helpful. He took care of a minor issue of a loose bolt on the dock ladder very quickly and even notified me of a something I left at a local merchant midweek when he saw it on a community FB site. I would definitely stay here again.
Was there for a fishing tournament boat parking is a little tight but other than that it was great.
Cabin was clean, beautiful view of Hubbard Lake and accommodations were what we expected. Owner was very helpful and willing to do what we asked to make our stay enjoyable. I will rent from him again.
The location was great... right next to water. It was quiet and the other renters were nice. Both the interior and exterior were tired... maybe some updating would help. John was very helpful and available to us, which was great when it came time to light the wood burning stove. If we came back we would come during the summer.
Want to return during next summer
Everything was as described. Cabins were rustic and charming. The lake was awesome with rock and sand bottom.
Had a great experience
