Stayed Aug 31, 2025Quiet and remote, the house was clean on arrival. If you're looking to spend some time far away from busy life, this is the place. We were however negatively surprised as there was no WiFi, even though the listing said there would be. The exact location was also somewhat different from how it was described - keep in mind you will need a 15-minute drive on a mountain road from the nearest village.

Stayed Jun 9, 2024We LOVED our stay here. It was a great starting point for hiking the Ruta de Cares in the Picos de Europa (40 minutes away) but how delightful to discover another fun hike Camino Encantado just down the hill. 6.5 miles that takes you through beautiful woods and farmland and three small towns. Elena was friendly and helpful and the views were stunning. The fruit trees are a bonus.

Stayed Jul 2, 2023Hidden up a hilly track, this beautiful cabin was a wonderful location for a tranquil, bucolic escape. The garden offers gorgeous views of the Picos de Europa, whose mountainous trail are only 30 minutes away, yet the beaches of the Asturian coast are even closer (we recommend Playa Toranda). Elena was a very friendly and helpful host. All in all a terrific week in an agreeably lesser-known and under-touristified part of Spain.
