Beautiful and Cozy Cottage with Hot Tub close to Snæfellsnes National Park

The house was very cozy - the beds were extremely comfortable, the sofa was lovely the house was very private. Plentiful towels and linens and blankets. The host was very responsive to messages.

Perfect setting to complete our Iceland vacation.

Was such a great vacation in the cottage. From booking until Depature everything was perfect. Really uncomplicated, super clean and the highlight is the Whirlspool on the Terrace. Thanks for everything!

Great place. Very rural location though. Ceiling fan was in need of cleaning and kitchen cupboard doors were a bit sticky.

We really enjoyed this cottage. Lots of room for everyone, hot tub was a big hit. Only problem was we couldn't stay longer. In the country, but only takes a few minutes to get to town.

This was the most amazing place to stay for a family. Not too far from town but at the same time feeling very remote. House was surrounded with trees and birds. The kids fell in love with the loft. I would say no negatives about this property, but one challenge was the locks which they describe in detail up front. I was afraid of locking us out of the house so I just kept the key in the lockbox.

All we needed was there. Nice and warm and clean house. Perfect for our 5 person family Communication excellent

Really lovely spot ; great location . Was a perfect base for exploring so much of the West & central regions of Iceland. One of the best supplied rentals I have used- was able to cook anything with compromise on equipment. Extremely helpful and supportive hosts.We felt so at home here- it was hard to leave.

We loved our stay at this cottage in Iceland. It was a perfect spot for our exploring to Snæfellsnes. The cottage was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. We settled right in. My teenager loved the loft and having the cool windows. Iceland is a long way from home for us but we would come back in a heartbeat.

Where to begin... the house was absolutely immaculate. It was nice to have a thorough information packet e-mailed to us ahead of time to prepare for our arrival. From the shoe rack by the door (to keep the floors clean throughout our stay, we took off our shoes... I think it is also customary in Iceland to take off your shoes indoors), the heated towel rack in the bathroom, the neatly made beds, the hot tub heated and all ready to go, and an efficient but cozy layout, the home was perfect for our stay. The hosts have been very thoughtful about every detail to the house. We loved seeing the Northern Lights from right outside the home - a dream come true.

Beautiful, quiet area to rest and relax. We had everything we needed and exceptional directions and manuals on how to use everything.

This was a return visit to Holt and it was as good as we remembered. Lucky with the weather again and very much enjoyed our time here

Cabin was exactly as described. Although small by US standards, it was plenty of space for our family of 5, including 3 teenage boys. The info and communication from the hosts were excellent, including detailed directions and access instructions. Good location for access to Snaefxxxx peninsula. Especially appreciated the hot tub after a long day of sightseeing. Thanks!
