Beautiful 3 bedroom chalet like cottage on Lake Muskoka: family friendly

Stunning of lake view and Tara was the most thoughtful person I’ve ever met. Definitely I will come back again.

We stayed at this cottage for our elopement, and it was absolutely perfect. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay special, and after reading so many reviews saying the same thing, we knew we had made the right choice. The property is stunning, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. At night, you can lie on the dock and see the stars so clearly! It’s truly magical! We can’t wait to come back next year to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!

Great spot on Lake Muskoka close to trails and towns.

This place is perfect and spotless. Communication with host easy. Ken and Tara have made this a real home from home. No detail has been left undone. The thought and special touches that have gone into this house and the extras provided is amazing.The lake view from the lower deck will stay with us for ever. We came from the UK and hope to visit again.

What a fabulous summer property. All is at your disposal whether you want to spend time on the lake, go to a golf course around the corner, or just take in nature on some hikes…The cottage is newly built, it is maintained very well, and has all the amenities that you would need. I highly recommend staying at this Muskoka cottage.

The cottage is beautiful, well built and impeccably maintained. Ken and Tara are very responsive and the cottage is equipped with everything one could possibly require. The deck is huge and perfect for sundowners. I highly recommend this spot.

We were looking for a place to get away and relax. The Muskoka Lake Chalet was the perfect place. The outdoor decks and dock were perfect for relaxing by the water or enjoying a meal. The firepit is a wonderful way to enjoy the evening. The cottage itself was well appointed with anything you could possibly want. It was very clean and had plenty of cottage charm. We liked it so much, we’re looking at dates to possibly book again in the Fall.

A place of refuge and discovery! Since we had some misty drizzly weather the mists of Avalon came to mind.

We had a lovely 4 nights. Tara and Ken met us at cottage and showed us around. Excellent hosts. Cottage is fully equipped with all you need for a very comfortable stay. Best bit of it for us was sitting quietly on the huge deck relaxing.

Everything was perfect.

Tara and Ken’s beautiful cottage right on lake Muskoka was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The location itself was perfect, right next to incredible hiking trails and gorgeous views. The cottage itself, which was built by the family themselves, was an absolutely gorgeous space to get to spend a weekend. The huge dock, big porch, and fire pit created perfect space for summer memories. Tara and Ken have taken special care to make sure everything that we might need was already in place for us, from a fully stocked kitchen to an impossible amount of towels to handle whatever we got ourselves into. They were incredibly gracious hosts, meeting us at the property to walk us through everything we needed to know to make the space feel like it was our home. Such a special place we can’t wait to get back.
