Stayed Jul 2, 2025Booked the Manning cottage for 5 nights. It was as described comfortable and welcoming, with all the facilities necessary for a very pleasant self contained experience. Great views overlooking the river, quiet and private. The host Paul was very friendly and on hand when needed. We thoroughly recommend Barrington Cottages as a great hideaway holiday in a lovely setting.Thanks a lot to our hosts for a great stay. We'll be back for sure.

Stayed Jan 11, 2022We recently stayed 4 nights at Barrington Hideaway. Delightful location, right on the river. Sitting outside on the veranda watching the river flow by was very relaxing. Sue was very communicative and helpful with good advise. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and close to some great hikes. Highly recommend

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Roomy cottage with lovely verandah overlooking native garden & the river. Great for birdwatching & reading as the rain fell down. Ideal base for day trips to Barrington Tops & also only a few Ks to Gloucester for coffee & supplies. Single beds were big enough for adults, not just kid sized. Try to visit when farmers market is on.

Stayed Nov 26, 2020Our cabin was spacious, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed plus more. Communication with Sue was easy. The beds were comfy, the verandah perfectly situated over the river and we loved being surrounded by nature. The onsite cows and the birds chirping in the trees were lovely. Highly recommended.

Stayed Aug 7, 2020Fantastic stay in a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting just above the river. Lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a platypus and lots of bird life. The cottage itself was very well appointed. Would stay again.

Stayed Jul 5, 2020We had an awesome stay, beautiful property in an awesome location to access the local attractions. Extra special touches were appreciated. The kids loved roasting marshmallows at the fire pit in the evenings.
