This is a beautiful cottage and garden, perfectly situated in Berry - well equipped, cosy, comfy and impeccably decorated. We loved our time here and had everything we needed.

We had a fantastic stay at Bantam Cottage. The house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and perfectly located just a short stroll from the main part of town, shops, and cafes. We especially loved that it was pet friendly, with a secure yard and a beautiful balcony to enjoy a cup of tea on a crisp morning. It was also an easy drive to Seven Mile Beach, which was great for our dog. Janet was lovely to deal with, very responsive, and made the whole process simple and stress-free. We can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely house in a great location

We loved the lovely spacious rooms. The cottage was pet friendly and our dog Sandy also enjoyed her stay. Janet was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The cottage itself is in a great location, with a fantastic cafe just across the road with a minutes walk to the shops. This was our third stay in Berry and Janet's cottage was definitely the best. We didn't take any photos of the cottage but I'd have to say, the listing photos are accurate.

Great place. Location is perfect. Beds were comfortable and linen was great quality. Loved the decor!! Will definitely be back!!Photos are from the front veranda looking to the coffee shop opposite and also looking towards Queen Street. Thought the parking would be an issue ( as there’s no onsite parking) but it was fine.

This is a lovely house. It bring backs memories of a cottage we once rented. And for us it was like home away from home as we live in a 60s style cottage. This cottage was pet friendly for our 2 mature dogs and it was in immaculate condition. The garden was safe and secure for our dogs to run around in. The deck was lovely to sit and relax in to watch the sunrise from the misty mornings.

Very clean and tidy. Good kitchen area. Great location. Walk to Berry main street for cafes, shops pubs. Cafe directly opposite serves great coffee and breakfast

We have stayed at Bantam Cottage in the past and yes, we will stay there again because it’s such a nice cottage and it’s so convenient to Berry Main Street.And who doesn’t love an open fire? It’s always a special night with a fire to warm you up.

The furnishings are plush, stylish, and incredibly inviting. Everything has been curated with care.The location is ideal — close to great cafes, bars, shops, historic sites, wineries, and more. It’s the perfect base for exploring the area or simply unwinding. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this home for a perfect long weekend escape.

My parents took me away to the beautiful Bantam Cottage for my birthday. In the lead up to our trip, Janet’s warm communication was so appreciated. Upon arrival, the characterful cottage stimulated all of the senses. It was beautifully decorated, clean, warm flannelette sheets on the beds, the functioning fireplace was cozy, the outlook from the back door was exquisite, and we were only a short walk away from the Main Street. We were also grateful for the delicious chocolate upon entering! We are already planning our next stay at Bantam Cottage. Bantam Cottage is cosy and sweet, in a great location. Host Janet is lovely. Communication was great, we had a query while at the property and she responded straight away. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely property, located very close to the main street Very clean and well stocked. Our only complaint was the house was a little drafty and the bathroom doesn’t have a heater or privacy blinds. Nice big backyard. Will definitely come back again in summer!

We had a great time having a mid-winter stay at this cottage.It's got a roomy rear deck which is a fabulous sun trap on the sunny winter days we were there. We also enjoyed the cosy living room and wood fire.The location is good, so near the centre of town, but with the open pastures and river tree line visible from the back deck, not like a normal suburban house.

Bantam Cottage is perfect, cosy, clean, comfortable and creatively decorated with beautiful furniture and original art work. The location was great with the excellent General Store across the street. Janet was the most helpful host. Thank you for your hospitality and providing a truly dog friendly holiday home.

A wonderful historic cottage, in a fantastic location within a stone’s throw of the towns Main Street. The cottage is charming, clean and comfortable with air conditioning in the two bedrooms and lounge, which was appreciated on our stay (33-37). Communication and the check in process was seamless. Definitely a new go to place for us.

I was informed by phone at 5.30 pm that the property had been double booked and was occupied.I had my elderly parents with me and a weekend planned in Berry.I was offered accommodation 30 mins away from Berry, however this property had no hot water. We were given no alternative other than having to return home. Very disappointing

A beautifully restored little house in a fantastic location, everything we needed for a stopover on our way south. We loved berry and will definitely return next time we're heading South.

Had the most wonderful country cottage experience. Working wood fireplace in lounge room. Modern appliances, Wi-Fi, very clean, perfect location just around the corner from main street of Berry. Wish I could have stayed longer!

We have stayed at Bantam cottage a few times now, and we love it. Absolutely gorgeous cottage, and once you are parked that’s it kick back and relax. Log fire! So near the cafe shops and places to eat.Janet is a fantastic host so helpful. Oh the new shower Is amazing
