Great location and amazing view!

The view of the lake from this property was amazing. The old, cottage feel was charming and reminiscent of ages past. Our cottage was well stocked and very comfortable and very clean. I would definitely return here for future get aways. Our guest from Arizona was so impressed with the beauty and charm of staying so near to Lake Michigan. Thank you to our host, Jay!

Every morning enjoyed coffee with amazing view. Followed by a 3mi walk to the light house and back. You can get a an extra .5 if you walk up prospect with view of the city. (Photo is night time)

Met Owner when we checked in. He was awesome and everything about our stay was great. Perfect location. Easy walk to beach and down town.

All aspects of this property met our expectations except for the bedroom situation. The property is listed as 5 bedrooms, but only one bedroom (new addition) has full walls. The other 4 bedrooms have open rafter ceiling which makes each room connected as far as noise is concerned. If you are traveling with other couples, this may not be advantageous. That being said, the location is great and the view from the deck is lovely. Jay is also a very gracious host.

What a beautiful property tucked above the beach. We stayed for three nights and had a blast. 10/10!

We had a great time at the cottage. The back porch is beautiful and looks out right over the lake and pier- perfect for family dinner and sunsets. Cottage is great walking/biking location from beach. The owner checked in regularly and was available throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed an amazing stay at Pair of Dice.. the home. Is an older classic home with beautiful wood floors, tons of windows and tons of light! The back deck overlooked the Lake and we enjoyed many sunsets and relaxation there everyday. The location was close to everything in Grand Haven and the boardwalks allow you to walk all around the area- this is a great place for bikers and hikers..and Jay was an incredible host always checking to see if we needed anything and how our stay was going. There’s a grill and fully equipped kitchen and if you’re missing anything Jay will get it for you! I can’t say enough about the rental and the only thing it took getting used to was no air conditioning. It wasn’t a big deal because the air off the lake cools the house down pretty quick, and we weren’t there most of the day time anyways . This is also a quick drive to Saugatuck, South Haven is 40-45 mins and Holland has many restaurants and entertainment too. Thanks for a wonderful vacation Jay!

Comfortable. Scenery beautiful, especially the sunsets! Spent most of our time on deck overlooking the Lake.

I took my nieces and nephews for a weekend getaway at the Lake. The house was absolutely perfect: cozy, clean, a great history, spectacular views and quick walk to the beach. Jay was super helpful and communicative throughout our stay! I would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.
