Anchor Down - a cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 2 bedrooms

We recently went back to Filey stayed twice at the same place, very cosy, we stayed at Christmas and went back in late January. I would recommend anyone stay here very clean cosy. Love Filey!

We have stayed at many properties on The Bay and quite a few managed by Filey Bay Direct. This cottage rates as one of the nicest , it was excepi ionally clean and has all the facilities you would need to enjoy your stay, Close to the amenities on The Bay and parking very close to the property itself. One very small and minor issue raised during our stay which was dealt with very promptly and effectively by Paula and the communication prior to, during and post stay was first class.

The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. And booking with Filey Bay Direct was very good from the start. Lots of communication and information.

We have had a beautiful stay in the Anchor Down cottage . In a perfect location within the Bay the cottage is lovely and comfortable with everything you need Cleanliness was 5star Short walk from all amenities and the lovely beach We would most definatley stay again

Lovely house. Nice position.Very clean. This is the second time we visited. The house is very well equipped. Far too many glasses ,takes up food storage space. We will be back.

The house is one of the best we have stayed in at The Bay, and we have gone yearly since the site first started It has everything in you could possibly want and is well maintained A great long weekend

We have stayed at the Bay several times in the past in a one-bedroom apartment. Now that our children are getting bigger, we needed to stay somewhere with more room. Anchor Down was perfect. Spacious, clean, well located and had everything we needed! Beds were comfy and the kids loved having their own room this time. Thank you! We’ll be back!

Nice little house. It came with the basic equipment required in the kitchen. Easy access to outside space for dogs, but not fenced off. There were a few Christmas decorations, but a bit more effort could have been made. Felt a little like a random little house in a housing estate rather than a holiday park let, but maybe that was just us. Beach is about a 20 minute walk away, main holiday park facilities a good 5 minutes walk away

Anchor Down was excellently kitted out. The furniture was quality and the bed super comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are modern with all the utensils one could wish for. The accommodation was spotless and the garden area was great for relaxing and having a barbecue. Parking was very convenient and information on the facilities of the park were in the accommodation. All in all we had a really relaxing stay with our seven year old grandson. One criticism of the actual park facilities is the football field area. The nets in the goals are really dilapidated and need replacing.

Facilities at the Bay were very tired, grounds overgrown. The amusements did not work, but took your money. Pool was cold. Coffee shop closed. The experience was not as good as the last time we stayed at the Bay. Would recommend the property but not the facilities on the Bay.
