Personally, we go to the cottage to enjoy the Okanagan and its range of outdoor activities. The cottage is great and there are a lot of activities at the resort, but we also like to tour around the Okanagan and the cottage is our base camp for all that the Okanagan has to offer. Silver Star Mountain is 60 minutes away and is a year round playground featuring a Mountain Bike park, Hiking, Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snow-shoeing in the winter. Activities in the Okanagan range from zip lining, paintball, biking (family oriented, road biking, and mountain biking), hiking, and bungee jumping.
Mission Hill winery was named one of the 50 best wineries in the world this year, there are many wineries in the area and tours. Take your wife for a world class night out at one of these wineries. Do you golf as well There are courses everywhere.
