Amazing Lakeview-Cozy Cottage- Private Beach Access Sleeps 6

Great little cottage property. Close to private beach and Goderich. Great host, great communication.

Cozy, very quiet winter retreat overlooking the lake. We enjoyed snow shoeing in the adjacent park, walks in the neighborhood, and views of the lake and sunset skies. Quick drive into town square of Goderich and waterfront parkCabin is quaint and well equipped. Very comfy beds. Gas firestove kept us warm during typical wintery Lake Huron weather.

Perfect spot. Beds were super comfy. Super clean and people in the area were super friendly.

We had the best time @ this cozy cottage. Amazing location, great for our dog who loved the private beach and park in the backyard. Close to all amenities in town and so simple to get around. Great times!

This was a great experiment and a nice weekend. The property was well looked after and we enjoyed our stay.

Cute little cottage. Easy to find and quick check-in. Sleeps 6, but we were 3 and found it just right. Lots of games provided indoor and out. We cooked everyday and could have used extra kitchen towels. Beds were clean. We had a nice fire and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Private beach is a little rocky but very quiet. Community members were friendly.

We had a lovely stay at the great little cottage! It’s a quaint cottage that has all you need, and has a great view of the lake. Getting down to the water is a bit of a walk, and it’s a stone beach, so if you are looking to swim, I would reccomend driving to the Goderich beach. All in all, a great little spot for a getaway! Host was great, good communication and very accommodating.

We were staying in the area to see family for the holidays. It was close to town. The veiw was beautiful. The cottage was cute, clean and cozy. Would definitly stay there again.

Cute cottage in a quiet spot with lots of privacy. Hike to private rock beach down the hill may be difficult for some, but our kids aged 3 and up managed it fine and it’s a perfect place to watch the sunset. Bunkie is nice too.

Quaint clean cottage. Lovely holiday though note for children: community private beach is an 8 minute walk along a path with 70+ stairs to a rocky beach.

It was everything we were hoping for. Even when I had a momentary issue with the lock on the one door and the fridge it was super easy to get ahold of the owner and were kind and helpful. The ONLY reason I gave cleanliness a 4 star and not a 5 star is because the absolute abundance of spiders that were built up over time not usual amount that comes with camping .... a quick hose down or wipe down would prevent this.

We had a great time at the cottage. Lots of things to do for the whole family. I had an issue with the bunkie lock, Shelly came right away to help me with it.

Our stay was absolutely enjoyable. We love this little spot. The sunsets are incredibly beautiful and we get a Birdseye view from this cottage. This was our second time here thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great spot to see the sunsets! Kitchen was well equipped. It is a small quaint cottage that has everything you need ( except a carrot peeler lol) The beds are comfortable and linens provided were great. My dog loved our stay as well. Only suggestion I would give is to have covered kitchen garbage can to keep the ants away. Thank you Shelly for a great stay Liz

Small little house in a peaceful neighborhood. A small/medium hike to access a private pebble beach for the sunset. Very close to Goderich. A large fire pit and wood is supplied. Also a large deck with seating and a BBQ! Host is very responsive. Only downside is very low water pressure and tight shower space. Highly recommend!

Nice clean well furnished and equipped cottage. Location with spectacular sunset view and proximity to amenities.

We left at midnight because once the AC and fans were turned off, there was a strong sewage odor from the bathroom. There were other issues as well, such as ants, rattling AC, and an unclean fridge shelf, but it was the odor that made us leave. The owner simply said we were mistaken and there was no smell and scolded me for leaving behind a trash bag (it was pitch black when we left so I didn't know where the garbage outside was located, my mistake). Not even a partial refund was offered. Lesson learned to be more vigilant next time when booking a property.
