Airy & Artsy A Beautiful Stay

Had a wonderful time at this very cool and artsy home. Loved all the different areas to sit and relax. Home had everything we needed.

Very comfortable bed and furnishings, interesting pottery, books, decor, amazing room scents, well stocked kitchen, informative guide book, guest book recommendations, great neighborhood and location.

Everything was perfect! Kristin is a wonderful host. She responds quickly to any questions. My friend and I went to Fairhope to see the Christmas lights and the location of Kristin's house is within walking distance of the beautifully lighted streets. The house is charming, clean, comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay there again.

It was a great place! We enjoyed the backyard. The proximity to restaurants and shops was ideal! It was very quiet, which is something we appreciated. The sunsets were just a short walk away. We also appreciated the extra amenities that were made available. Overall, a really nice stay!

Host went out of her way to accommodate us. We are very grateful for her hospitality. Home was lovely.

The location to downtown Fairhope and the bay was perfect. Loved the open warm feel of the house. Clean, kitchen equipped with essentials. Beds were great.

LOVED the location and neighborhood. My favorite neighborhood in Fairhope. You can walk to downtown any where in 5 minutes and walk to the water in 5 minutes. House is very charming. Perfect Getaway Spot.

We came in for the weekend for my brother in laws’ celebration of life ceremony. This was a fairly large event and for us to be able to have a quiet haven was extra special and very helpful. Fairhope is such a beautiful place and we were literally three minutes away from my sisters’ home where the event took place. A very convenient and lovely stay for us. Thank you!

Kristin was a great host with so many little extras provided (coffee, filters, spices, olive oils, etc) along with wonderful spaces both inside and out to enjoy. We would definitely recommend a stay at Kristin’s place.

Accurate property description - artsy, lots of space, and backyard to relax. You can walk to downtown. Really enjoyed walking and jogging around the neighborhood which is close to the parks that run along the shore and quiet streets with huge trees, plants and flowers.

Kristen was very accommodating, responded promptly to all requests.We loved the vibe of this home. The layout was comfortable…. We used the downstairs fireplace room in the morning for reading, it was cozy and had great morning light.The kitchen is well accomodated; I especially appreciated the range of spices and teas.Nice & quiet neighborhood, easily walkable to town.

This was my 4th or 5th time staying here. I travel to Fairhope often and this is the only place that I stay now. It’s so charming and comfortable. Best of all, it’s in the prettiest part of town right near the bay. Kristin is such an accessible and accommodating host. The Summit house is my home away from home.

I visit Fairhope often and this is my new favorite place to stay. The house was so pretty, quaint and comfortable. I really enjoyed the great reading nooks throughout the house and lovely yard. It’s in the prettiest part of town, quiet neighborhood, so close to downtown AND in view of the bay…only one block away. Great host and home. Thank you for sharing your space, Kristin.

My wife and I travel to Fairhope 2- 3 times a year to visit our daughter and her family. This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. Anything we needed; Kristin was available.

Super location and all the amenities that you could expect

If you’re looking for a getaway to Fairhope, this cottage is the place to be. This cottage is right in the heart of downtown Fairhope, a short walk to the pier and Mobile Bay where you can see gorgeous sunsets. The cottage is well-equipped, nicely decorated and the owner is very easy to and prompt in communicating with you. We would stay here again.
