Air-Conditioned Cottage With Pool in Vence.

A lovely, peaceful Gite just a short walk from the centre of Vence. Richard, the host, is very welcoming. A week is not long enough to explore the area!

We had the most relaxing holiday in this delightful cottage. It has everything you need and is clean and comfortable. The art work is very interesting and there were flowers inside and in the beautiful garden. Richard, the host, will help with anything. We loved the pool and swam every day and our car enjoyed it’s own private garage! There is a shop very near for anything you need and many restaurants within walking distance. We highly recommend this lovely place.

We stayed 2 weeks in this lovely home from home just a short walk from the town centre. Accommodation perfect for the 2 of us. Beautiful garden and lovely pool to come back to after a day out. Thoroughly recommend it. We would definitely come back. Thank you Richard.

We had a good time, visiting, museums and chapels in the area and walking around Vence old town. It was very convenient to the old town area and restaurants. The major drawback was that the bathroom is. In the main floor cottage and the sleeping is in the loft upstairs

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Richards. He was very helpful with local info.and marked out a couple of trips on the map into the Alps. Local town a ten minute stroll, with good selection of restaurants. Lovely pool , slightly on the chilly side due to weather and beware the mosquitoes. Graham and Val

We have just spent 2 wonderful weeks in Richard's lovely annex, and we only have praise for the stay. The annex is the perfect size for 2 adults. The annex is positioned a bit in the shade, which means it doesn't get too hot, or at least it cools down quickly. We were there for 2 weeks in July with around 30˚C every day. Often, it was enough to create circulation by opening 2 small windows (equipped with mosquito nets) to keep it cool at night. Otherwise, it was possible to turn on the air conditioning. Everything in the annex is chosen with a loving hand, from furniture and interior to the bed and bed linen, which are of the highest quality. The pool area was lovely and the garden was truly beautiful. We had most of our meals on the lovely terrace where we could seek shade under the pavilion. We spent many pleasant moments there eating, reading, playing cards, and just enjoying the special French nature and atmosphere that we value so much. If we didn't choose to cook ourselves, we went down to the town, where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars, often with live music. As a host, Richard is discreet but extremely friendly and helpful. It is very clear that he loves his beautiful place and takes good care of it. We definitely want to come back another time.

Not only was everything clean and tidy, he's also a perfect host helping you with ordinary things, but also giving touristical tips and tricks for the neighbourhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Immaculately kept property, lovely well kept gardens and swimming pool. Every detail has been thought of and catered for. Richard is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble. He was most helpful during our 4 night stay. Location is very good for the town, restaurants and local buses. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here.
