Perfect for our needs. Great location. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and easy for Ubers. Pancake Pantry is a few steps away and lived up to the hype. The furniture is a bit tired but beds were very comfortable. As other renters have pointed out, the bedroom window air conditioner rattles but you do need to keep it on to muffle outside noise from the alley right behind. The outside stairs and pathway are poorly lit at night—especially when it rains, which it did a lot while we were in Nashville—and steps can be treacherous. I don’t have mobility issues but almost fell a few times so could be hazardous for older folk and small children.

A hidden gem adjacent to Vanderbilt U and within walking distance to downtown Nashville. Love its quiet location and access to most anything you'd desire in Nashville!

This was the perfect spot for my quick two-day trip to Nashville. Located not far from Vanderbilt, one would expect it to be in a somewhat noisy area; instead, I found it to be incredibly quiet and perfect for reading and doing work at the end of each day. The owners provide everything you might need to get started: fresh linens; laundry and dish detergent; basic toiletries; coffee; oatmeal and snack bars; coffee pot and tea kettle; cookware; silverware; and a basic set of spices. The furniture was extremely comfortable, and between the ceiling fans and air conditioner in the bedroom I had the perfect prompts for sound sleep. One of my favorite finds was the cottage guide; unlike many places where you'll find information in a notebook, the owners created an actual book that was published with all the information you'll need (seems small, but to me it was a huge personal touch). Outstanding communication and a warm welcome from the owners also contributed to a great visit. I hope to be back in Nashville soon, and I'll definitely be returning to this cottage!

We were able to walk to Belmont University for orientation. The beds were very comfortable and we both slept well.

The cottage is amazing. We hope to return one day to Nashville, and when we do we are hoping we can stay here again.The place was spotless.The beds were comfy.Great water pressure in the shower.Communication with the hosts was never an issue; they offered their own list of favorite places to check out locally.While we were warned that locals had been a pain recently in taking the parking spot allocated for the cottage, we used the cone and had zero issues.The only thing I would mention that I do not recall seeing in the listing, is that the steps into the cottage are a bit tricky: they are tall, and a bit uneven in spots, but we were never in a condition that made me concerned for our well-being while entering or leaving.Our only “gripe” was that the cottage was so homey, welcoming and relaxing that at times we had to force ourselves out into Nashville to do the “tourist” things; we were just so comfortable inside, that relaxing in the cottage was far too easy of an option.We cannot recommend this place enough!

Property was clean and suitable for our quick stay. It was with walking distance to shop and food. And we were able to walk to Midtown. We used the Hop in Hop off trolley which was beneficial to get around and explore. CMA fest was this weekend which was an experience we weren't expecting but fun.

Very clean and cute cottage! Communication was good and the place looked just like the pictures online. I appreciated the bottles of water in the fridge and granola bars on the table. Just a heads up that the air conditioning is window units, not central a/c. The temperature was fine - no problems there - I just prefer central air.

The location was so convenient for us. We used it during the graduation of our son from Vanderbilt. Easy walking to the campus and to restaurants. Perfect for our long weekend.

Great little place. However, could use a small bit of upkeep. The shower curtain was moldy, the AC/Fans all needed filters replaced and were a tad noisy. One spoon left in the cutlery set. Otherwise a really great little place, perfect location!

The Cottage was the perfect place for our getaway! The hosts were very fast to answer emails. The place was furnished with all of the comforts of home. It is located in a very quaint and quiet neighborhood. Easy to navigate from. We hope to return in the future!

This cozy cottage provided the perfect spot for us to stay while visiting family. The beds were comfortable. Great water pressure made for nice warm showers. Soft towels and plenty of them. The kitchen well supplied with lots of nice extras present. So nice to have reserved parking space right next to cottage. Wonderful shops, restaurants, coffee shops and more within walking distance. Great communication. Definitely recommend!

The property is perfect to visit Belmont, We walked to campus. The space is cute, clean, and well maintained. The only issue we had was that we were promised a parking space and other people parked in the asiigned spot. You cannot park on the streets overnight so we were stuck with no parking. The cottage is not on a street - it is behind another building in an alley so we did not know what to do. If you have no car and want to be close to Belmont it will work great!

Place was great...lots of room, comfortable beds and great location!Host left lots of good information regarding the area and was very responsive.

We enjoyed our stay. There were partially dried towels in the laundry, so we washed them again with the ones we used. Loved the closeness of restaurants . The steps were to the house were a little dangerous, but we managed. Will stay again.

Cottage was clean was well supplied.

Perfect place for our family to stay while visiting our oldest kid at Vanderbilt. This is closer to the freshman dorms than any hotel, includes a parking space, and had plenty of space for us and our two younger kids.The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, has no stinky air fresheners (all too common in rental homes these days), and had nice touches like extension cords for easy bedside phone charging and granola bars and oatmeal for breakfast. The host's checkin/checkout instructions were very nice and clear.Things to know:* The parking space isn't huge. No problem for our mid-sized rental car but if you show up with a giant truck it might be a tough squeeze (especially when the neighbor's giant pickup is parked in the next space).* The windows don't have screens. We used the AC anyway but if you must have the windows open, it might be an issue. * The windows don't have blackout shades. The wooden blinds were good enough for us, but if you require a pitch black room for sleeping, this might not be your first choice.* The host requests that you run the dishwasher, a load of towel laundry, and take out the trash. All reasonable requests, but a reminder that this isn't a full-service hotel. We'd DEFINITELY come back.

I loved this little cottage! It was the perfect size, and had everything I needed. Check in and out was very easy and host had a lovely book with all the instructions plus local things to do. I walked everywhere, it was so convenient, even to downtown! It is a quiet area and I felt safe. I hated to leave, I really enjoyed my stay here!

Perfect Stay Near Vanderbilt and Downtown Nashville!I absolutely loved this quaint cottage! The location couldn’t be better. We were able to walk to great shops, restaurants, and the Fisher Center at Belmont. It’s also just a short drive to downtown Nashville, which made exploring the city so easy. The beds were super comfortable, and the cottage was very clean, quiet, and located in a safe neighborhood. Susan was wonderful to work with and made communication a breeze. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Nashville!

Our family of six (kids 4 to 14) stopped in Nashville to visit Vanderbilt and Belmont. This was a convenient location for walking to both. It was a comfortable stay and a quiet neighborhood. Some things to note: the stairs into the home were a bit uneven and the exterior motion-detecting lights were pretty bright at night inside. The AC worked great.

We loved it here! We were in Nashville for my son to tour Vanderbilt and Belmont, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. Most of the time we left the car parked and were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The cottage was a great comfortable place for us to return to at the end of the day!

Great night's rest! The beds were very comfortable. I loved the added touches of having extra disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste. Washing machine and dryer we're great to have inside. Living room and dining area were both very spacious and the kitchen had everything! 5 of us slept great!

Cute cottage, super clean in a quiet, yet accessible part of the city. Extremely humid weather crept into the cottage making it uncomfortable, but our hosts immediately provided a dehumidifier which made a huge difference. Incredibly responsive.

Amazing ! Close shops and convince

My granddaughter and I had a fun girls' weekend. This quaint cottage is blocks from Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities where we had wonderful morning walks. We also walked to restaurants and cute shops. A perfect setting and a perfect place to stay!

We enjoyed our time in the quaint cottage. We were able to walk to so many places—food, shopping, entertainment—so the location was ideal for us. Our hosts provided good instructions and were readily available through Vrbo chat. We would definitely stay again.

The location was absolutely perfect- within walking distance to Vanderbilt, Belmont and we even trekked by foot down to Broadway. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed!! The popcorn, oatmeal and breakfast bars were a thoughtful touch and actually came in handy in a pinch :) We will definitely stay here again!!

Perfect! Stayed with our family (two teenage sons) for two days and had a great stay. The cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable, was light and cheery and in a great neighborhood. We did a little of everything - Broadway, Zoo, walkedto breakfast at the Pancake Parlor and checked out the local shops. If we were to come back to Nashville we would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at this wonderful cottage was exceptional! It's very clean, well taken care of and so cozy. Beds are very comfortable. Every amenity you could need is provided and then some! The area is quiet and felt very safe! Eating establishments and shops are with a 2-block walk. Pizza Perfect has a delicious pizza! Hop on Hop Off Trolley stop #4 is .8-mile walk. This cottage felt like home and we would stay here again if we're going to Nashville. The Owners are great communicators and are so thoughtful. We'd highly recommend staying here!

We studied in VU, we decided to stay at this house as this is walking distance to the university and thus allow us to walk around the campus to reminisced our time here. Overall house is clean, equipped with ample supplies for our family of 3 small kids and clean. Only thing is that its get very cold at night and the heater provided is not enough to heat the whole house, otherwise my kids and I enjoyed our stay here

My husband rented this cottage for my Mom, sister, and I to have a girl’s weekend away. The cottage was cozy, clean, and had all the comforts of home, plus some extras. We really appreciated the welcome book. It was full of good information and restaurant recommendations. The apartment is in close vicinity to lots of attractions. Communication with the host was always very prompt and professional. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We were 10 minutes from all the action without any of the inconveniences of downtown stays. Quiet neighborhood and a clean property. Truly great place and will absolutely recommend to others.

This little house is very quiet and private, and in a safe neighborhood. It is easy walking distance to many restaurants. The layout of the house is very good with plenty of room, fully equipped kitchen, good living room furniture, and very comfy beds and pillows. The two AC units worked really well and there are ceiling fans. Originally I was concerned about the alleyway location but it was fine with almost no drive-by traffic. The stone steps up to the house are a little tricky. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We had a short but nice stay! My daughter had a second job interview in Brentwood and we also looked at apartments so were out of the house mostly. I appreciated the little touches left for us - toiletries, coffee, oatmeal, and comfy beds! The apartment had a little musty smell but overall it didn't bother us!

I came to Nashville for a short stay with my best friend the weekend before my wedding. Our group of 6 ended up only being 2 since we had last minute cancellations. The property was nice, there was a guidebook for things to do and see in Nashville, and there was a Starbucks closeby. I didn’t realize how close we were to Vanderbilt, but it was a very nice area. I would book here again if I go back to Nashville.
