Aberfoyle - Private Country Retreat in Equestrian setting

I am so glad we chose this place to stay. Not only was it in a beautiful location, a beautiful property, but the hosts were so welcoming and the house was so cozy and clean. My two teens and young son loved it so much they all asked if we could go back and stay longer just cause of how much we all loved the house and property. I absolutely would rent again, no hesitation. Thank you so much for having us!!!

The house was lovely! It was well appointed and made for a very nice relaxing weekend. The host, Helen was fantastic, and the location is very beautiful and peaceful but yet close to good restaurants. I was there with my dad for two races over the weekend, it made for a very nice short holiday!

The house was so spacious and adorable! It’s set on a BEAUTIFUL property! We were there for a Spartan Race and it was just the most peaceful and serene place to come back to. We walked and saw the horses and had a nice quiet weekend. Helen was so sweet and of course Willow was the best greeter I’ve ever met! A MUST stay if in the area!

Our stay at this property was restful and secluded. We loved the charm that this rustic, yet classic home provided. We would love to stay there again.

We loved our stay Aberfoyle. The setting was peaceful and was the perfect place for our girls weekend of laugher, food and catching up. The cottage was adorable and provided a cozy retreat that we were very comfortable in while being in a great location for exploring during the day. Helen was a wonderful host and came to check in with us making sure we were comfortable.

This is as regular spot for us. Great hosts and house.

Beautiful area convenient to Columbus where we have family

Perfect house for our family of 4 adults and we didn't even need the third bedroom. (you have to go outside to access it, but it's very private and comfortable.) We highly recommend booking this home. Helen was responsive and welcoming and kind. House was spotless and comfortable. 5 stars all around. We will absolutely be back.

The photos do not do this house justice. The character and charm is incredible, and the property is inviting and cozy. My husband and I stayed with his father and our toddler, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We didn’t realize the third bedroom was not accessible from the main house, but the bedrooms are spacious which allowed us to keep our toddler in his travel crib with us. Helen was so inviting and friendly, and her pup, Willow, was our toddler’s favorite. We had a wonderful time, and we hope to visit again.
