Stayed Dec 21, 2024Fabulous location, great walks and very peaceful (apart from nearby dog which did not stop barking!). Cottage very clean and well equipped. Check in process very smooth. However, disappointed with second bedroom, described as a double, was actually a very small double. Our daughter and partner live 20 miles away, but came to stay with us for christmas, after one night they had to go home as it was impossible for them to sleep, neither of them could fit! Could not find the tumble dryer (listed under facilities) and the upstairs toilet only had a cold water tap. Perfect cottage for 3, but would be a push to be comfortable with more than that - only one sofa. Lounge lovely and cosy but would benefit from additional comfy chair or small sofa.
