Stayed May 13, 2024The web site indicated it is Wick. Had to pay 36 lbs each way for a taxi. No dinning facilities. On site personnel was useless. Would not refund my money for the second night so had to pay double for another room actually in Wick

Stayed Apr 19, 2024Fantastic stay at John O Groats. We had booked a double ensuite room which looked lovely. When we arrived the manager was waiting for us to ask if we would mind if they upgraded our room as the heating wasnt wasnt working. Obviously we didnt mind. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to our upgraded room. They had given us a three bedroomed, two bathroom lodge which was amazing. Warm, comfortable clean and pur luxury. We settled down by the logburner to watch the sea through the huge windows. Perfect. They also gave us a free breakfast hamper! I had forgotten to order one and messaged Jan the morning before we arrived, (supposed to give 24hours notice). But not only did they manage to source us one at short notice, they gave us it for free. Fantastic service and all staff very friendly. Would definitely reccomend and hope to return.
