Very clean!!! Every detail is covered! Quiet cozy perfect getaway

My first positive impression with our stay was that Alexandria, the host, was like a friend who checked in just before your stay to make sure she had the house ready. I had read the description of the house and believed it would be in the woods, but it was not. There were trees in the yard. When we first drove up to the green gate (as we were instructed to do so) I couldn't see the house, and instantly noticed the overgrown brush and industrial business with transformers and cable next door. My first thoughts were how many vacation rentals are always in obscure places or houses that couldn't sell on the market well due to location. Although, the cottage wasn't how I visualized it's location, I was open-minded because I have stayed at hotels that were just built, with a wonderful facility, but the surrounding location was still in the works. We did like the fact that the house is obscure as you drive in, but it truly is walkable to the downtown area. Once inside, we noticed how clean and detailed everything was. It felt like a Laura Ashley home, but regardless, Alexandria made sure the kitchen was well-equipped for us. She had creamers we liked in the fridge, and she also had a tiny cake ready for my husband's birthday. The bed was a memory foam, and a bit too soft for our liking. However, the best part was the bidet in both bathrooms! This was a spoil me moment feature for our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here. Alexandria is an incredible host.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cottage! The location is perfect: close to downtown Hermann, yet tucked away enough to offer the privacy and peacefulness we enjoy. The owner has truly thought of everything you might need, from well-stocked bathroom amenities to a fully equipped kitchen.Our favorite moments were spent relaxing on the deck each morning and unwinding by the fire pit in the evenings.The owner went above and beyond to make our anniversary extra special, surprising us with a thoughtful basket of wine and treats. Her kindness and generosity meant so much to us. Communication was easy and friendly, and she was even flexible with our arrival time, which we really appreciated.We loved our time in Hermann and will definitely stay at the Cottage again on our next visit!

The cottage is private and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to walk to downtown attractions. It was very comfortable with many amenities. We enjoyed our stay very much- wish we could have stayed longer!

Ivy Cottage is a peaceful, comfortable retreat in a tranquil wooded area within walking/biking distance of downtown Hermann. We walked into town to enjoy many of the local restaurants that were recommended by our host. The cabin is spotlessly clean with lots of character. The host is very attentive and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. We used the Ivy Cottage as a homebase after bicycling on the katy trail. It was a pleasure to come back to such an inviting, nurturing place.

My husband and I fell in love with the Ivy Cottage that we stayed in for our 52nd. wedding anniversary!! The hostess had given very caring attention to every detail there to make our stay very welcoming, pleasant, and memorable!! The gift basket with wines that we like was a special touch and delightful surprise!! Our whole stay there also meant a lot to us because it would be our last trip for some time because my husband would be starting cancer treatment afterwards in just a week. Thank you so much, Alexandria, for all the sweet things and everything you did for our stay!! We will always remember your kindness to us for years to come!! Blessings to you and yours!!

Saw the Ivy Cottage listed in Hermann and it looked perfect for the two of us. Much bigger than I expected and loved the idea of a bathroom on each floor. It was decorated so charming and a good location to all the action so I booked it immediately. Didn’t look at anything else. Booking was easy, texting with Alexandria was easy and she got back to me quickly. She had everything we needed plus more! When we arrived, the Ivy Cottage looked exactly as it did in the pictures. Everything was perfect and easily accessible. Alexandria even called me the day before we left to go to Herman to make sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay. I recommend this adorable Ivy Cottage treehouse by the creek. You will enjoy your stay!

The location was also ideal—quiet and secluded yet close enough to downtown Hermann! We’re already planning our return trip. The Ivy Cottage is a true gem and the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and tranquility. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at this cottage to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved the cottage. It is perfectly decorated with amenities you don’t get at a typical Inn. It has everything you need, close walk to everything, and the host is incredibly welcoming! We will definitely be back!

The cottage is so cute and very well stocked. Alexandria went above and beyond to personalize our stay, and we were very impressed with all the extras available in the house for guests to use. The location feels remote but is right on the edge of town. We enjoyed live music from Oktoberfest right from the deck. Highly recommended this cottage and will definitely stay here if we visit Hermann again!

My wife and I have visited Hermann once before and stayed at a BNB. This location though is amazing! The creek out back as well as the wooded lot is beautiful. The decor is way m and inviting and the owners went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable! Between the Chobani creamers and the unbelievable robes we couldn’t have been happier! Definitely worth a return trip!!!

Cottage located on a secluded wooded lot with deer and a fish filled stream. But, only minutes from everything. Hostess goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and happy. She tries to think of all the little things. from everything
