The property is absolutely beautiful. It is as advertised in the listing….and more. Comfortable, clean, well maintained and stocked. The food in the refrigerator was very helpful for our first night.

I missed any mention when booking that there was a view of the ocean and amazing sunsets. We just loved it, well appointed and great toiletries. Surprised to find a small supply of arrival snack and breakfast. Wonderful coffee.Suprised by the cost of taxi to the local town Doolin. Liked the driver very much however we thought the cost was high.

The Hazel Cottage is a unique combination of rustic exterior and elegance within. The hosts have furnished it beautifully, and generously left a few helpful food items for us to use upon arrival. All appliances worked, the fireplace was a welcome addition, and the surroundings are peaceful and majestic. Though we were only a few kilometers from Doolin Village, we were living in the countryside, only twenty minutes' walk from the beginnings of the mighty Burren landscape. Our four nights here passed too quickly - this home was a wonderful experience, and a very good value for travelers like us.

This was the nicest VRBO property we have stayed at. Everything was brand new and clean. And the communication and remote check in with the management company was excellent also. Five minute drive from some excellent music pubs in Dooin. Highly recommended

We had an amazing stay in this tastefully decorated, beautiful cottage. Perfect for two couples, we drank wine by the fire in the evenings and explored the area by day. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and the kitchen and baths are well appointed with everything a traveler could hope for. The cows across the lane and the sea view added to the ambience making this the perfect County Clare rental!

Inside this charming old stone pig stye lies a spectularly modern and beautifully decorated get away. Clean, bright and beautifully appointed it has everything you need to read by a roaring fire, cook in if you like and do a load of laundry, and sleep in a comfy king size bed. Close to great pubs in Doolin and Lisdoonvarna. Hike the cliffs and explore the phots ops on the burren. Not to be missed! I could spend a month here!

The hazel has to be one of the ultimate finds in County Clare,Ireland. The converted stone horse, cow, and pig barn is a page out of cable HGTV. You need to remove your shoes when you enter and for good reason! The online pictures do not do the decorating justice. The living room/dining area is comfortable and cozy with a good size sofa and chair. The loft is an extra sleeping area. It is the place any one of us would build if it were our own home. There are 2 bedrooms at each end of the property. The one I slept in ,besides a comfortable new mattress and elegant sheets, had a view that was priceless. Outside you viewed the Aran Islands to the left, even on a somewhat typical Irish weather day; Galway and Galway bay in the middle with the Connemora Mountains in the background on a clear day; and the Limestone Burren on the right. A glass of wine or afternoon tea was breathtaking. The all new kitchen had all the amenities: 2 French press coffee makers; an expresso maker; new electric tea pot; 4 piece toaster ; and new Bosch oven .The refrigerator had a small welcome gift of salmon, cheese and wine. As I said the owner built this property as if he lived there. The property has a gate and a security system to boot. The internet is limited at best in Western Ireland. It will work well in certain areas and not in others in County Clare. Remember this is a vacation. This location is ideal for 2 couples and no kids. Book soon before the word gets out just among my friends.
