900 Square Foot Guest Cottage Built In 2013. Great For A Family of five max.

This has to be one of the nicest places we've ever stayed! Set on a gorgeous, forested property in a beautiful neighborhood of winding streets and stunning homes canopied by stately old growth trees, the Guest Cottage is, simply, perfection. Bright, beautiful, cozily-appointed, with beamed ceilings, great light, big, airy rooms, and plenty of places to put things, it's easy to enjoy the space, and just BE. There wasn't a thing we could think of that the owner had missed or left out; everything was arranged and designed for our comfort and enjoyment, so we were thrilled to spend our two nights in the City of Trees in this wonderful space. Highly recommend and if we're in Sacramento again, we'll definitely make it a first choice accommodation.

I had an awesome stay! The cottage was clean and comfortable, the AC worked great, and everything felt really well taken care of. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I would absolutely come back again!

The setting of cottage is in a very nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. Most homes in area were built in the 50’s and are on lots of over an acre. Very safe area and Walker friendly. Sally is a very accommodating hostess. 5 ⭐️

My family and I absolutely loved this place. It was incredibly clean and super well stocked with household items that are used on a daily. We loved hanging out on the front porch and having family bbqs. The bedroom is huge, the bed was really comfortable. All the furnishings is the house were adorable. We loved the sliding barn doors for the bed room. The owners are really nice, and it was easy to communicate with them through text and email before and after we arrived. I have two teenager that are really never impressed or excited about much, but they loved it here and also didn’t want to leave. We also fell in love with a beautiful cat that they own, who decided to let herself into our place and come and go as she pleased! She was so sweet and my kids completely loved having her around. We will most definitely come and stay here again! It was one of my favorite parts of our 16 day road trip vacation.

So many wonderful things to say about our stay in this cottage! It was easy to find, very clean and welcoming, very well appointed and an excellent location for visiting family in nearby Carmichael. We were on a road trip with our 7 month old baby and the owners had the pack and play set up for us when we arrived. They also had a washer and dryer that really came in handy! The property itself is very charming with a fragrant grapefruit tree by the front door and a huge lawn. I told my brother that we were visiting to bookmark this property to recommend to others when they’re in the neighborhood!

This was our second stay at this oasis in the middle of a busy city. The cottage is beautiful with everything you could want. The kitchen is as good as home and also a wonderful, comfy bedroom.Sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine after a busy day, overlooking the HUGE park-like yard, was very special. We even saw the neighborhood's turkeys!Sally is the Hostess with the Most-ess. She let us be, but when we wanted to talk, she was there.We look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful master bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom and well designed laundry/utility room. Because it is just a one bedroom cottage, those who sleep on the pull out couch and trundle beds have a cozy experience in the living room, which is what this grandma was looking for!

Close to the main house, but still a very private stay. Lovely, quiet neighborhood, good for morning and evening walks with our dog. The cottage itself is lovely: beautifully decorated, comfortable King sized-bed, and all other necessities, especially AC as it was in the 90's during our stay! Close to Old Sac, downtown, and wonderful family-owned restaurants nearby.

My daughter graduated from high school and I rented this cute little cottage for my in-laws to stay. They loved it! They walked the neighborhood every morning and sat outside on the front patio. They both said it was very comfortable. My mother in law is already thinking about when they can come out again and stay in the cottage because she liked it so much.

This was the most fully appointed rental we've ever experienced. The kitchen, bath, and bedroom spaces had everything we needed, so it was a truly relaxing stay. The host was kind and very flexible, and the property private, quiet, and nicely landscaped.

My husband and I loved the cottage. It was clean and beautifully decorated! The owner has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable from lots of towels to seasonings of every kind. We have stayed at a number of VRBO's and this is our favorite!

A beautiful cottage filled with everything you might need. Extra towels, all the kitchen utencils you would ever hope to use, spices in the cupboard, a quart of milk in the frig!! A park-like yard with a table and chairs, perfect for a glass of wine at the end of a busy day. Secluded and private. Enjoy the squirrels and wild turkeys.

Sally's cottage is an rural oasis in a quiet tree filled neighborhood. Her cottage is very comfortable and has all the elements providing for a short or long term stay. We will definitely plan to stay when we visit relatives in the Arden-Arcade area. We recommend it highly.

This cottage sits on a 1.5 acre lot detached from Sally's beautiful home. The gardens were just blooming beginning of March with hundreds of different flowers and shrubs, giant Redwoods, 60' tall lined our driveway, Italian cypress, birch trees and palms are interspersed with hedges around the property all maintained weekly by a friendly crew. The entire subdivision is filled with exquisite homes and beautiful yards that made our daily walks, treats, leaving us looking forward to our next outing. The cottage is clean, quiet and the furniture is comfortable, especially the king size bed. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals. Sally the owner is a wonderful person and great host. We will try to arrange to stay here in the future when we are visiting the area.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely guest cottage! So much nicer than staying in a hotel, and a quick drive to stores and restaurants. It was really clean, inviting, and the decor was great! I could tell that the owners had fun designing it. All the comforts of home, quiet, and tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. Comfy beds and pillows, a backyard. All the pans/utensils we needed for cooking, a washer and dryer. The coffee was awesome! Nice touches like reading lamps, and clear instructions. Host was gracious and responsive. Even though it is on the same property as the hosts, we were given complete privacy.

We last stayed in this comfortable country cottage six years ago. I have wanted to return for some time so was happy to see that the cottage was still available. I was impressed that the cottage was very clean, comfortable and looks brand new. The neighborhood and setting are in a beautiful neighborhood, right in the heart of the north area. Sally makes the whole process seamless and stress less. I plan to make this a homebase whenever we need to be in Sacramento for more than one day.

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful property. It was well appointed, super clean and very quiet. A perfect place for our getaway.

Everything was so peaceful and comforting. The place is a perfect size for two people trying to escape from a busy city life. The only minor thing that made my stomach flip was the sticky hard residue on the thick yellow blanket for our bed. It was probably just washed up old gum. This was just personal thing, but I’m a paranoid person at night and there are no curtains to cover the windows at the toilet and kitchen-living room windows to prevent someone from looking in. Aside from these small details, our experience here was so blissful. I wish we made some time for a morning stroll to hopefully run into turkeys!

My son and I stayed at this beautiful cottage during our visit to Sacramento for a music festival, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is ideal with easy access to everything we needed, yet it’s tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and well-stocked with thoughtful touches, including coffee supplies that made our mornings even more enjoyable. We loved the ambiance and felt right at home. This place will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I’m in Sacramento. Highly recommended!

We wanted a place we could invite some family over for meals we cooked. This cottage was perfect. Very nice layout of one bedroom home. Neighborhood was very quiet and nice homes. I loved having a full kitchen, gas stove, nice big fridge. It worked out very well for us. Host was so nice. We would stay here again, if in Sacramento.

An absolutely beautiful cottage. The beds were super comfortable. All four of us slept so soundly. You could hear a pin drop it was so quiet at night. It was only a 20 minute drive to Folsom Lake where our son was competing at the NorCal CrossFit Games. Hope to stay aT the cottage again next year.
