One of seven charming cottages, including one with disabled facilities, is set amidst 100 acres of picturesque, protected Breton countryside. The property features a stunning meadow, bordered for 1 km by the River Aven, and includes a serene trout pond. Abundant wildlife and the tranquil surroundings offer a perfect retreat to relax and unwind. Our nearest market town, Rosporden, is just 2 km away and provides all essential amenities.

'Entre mer et Terre'!
Though nestled in a rurallocation, we are within a 15-minute drive of pristine sandy beaches. Historic towns such as Pont Aven (10 minutes), Concarneau (15 minutes), and Quimper (25 minutes) are also nearby. Additionally, a climbing center is only 5 minutes away, and an adventure park with farm animals and a labyrinth is just a 7-minute drive. These are only a few of the many attractions in the area, and we provide our guests with a comprehensive guide in each cottage.

The cottages have been recently renovated to the highest standards, each offering panoramic views of the Aven Valley.

Our facilities include a 12m x 6m heated swimming pool, nestled in a secluded, fenced area with a child-proof security gate. The pool is surrounded by lush plants and trees, complemented by a spacious terraced and lawned area. Ample sun loungers are provided for relaxation, along with numerous tables and chairs to ensure your comfort. (Open from the end of May to the end of September).

The cottages are nestled within 100 acres of enchanting landscapes, featuring a children's play area, a picturesque meadow with a trout lake, and the serene River Aven. Explore the inviting woods, perfect for adventurous walks and tree climbing. The property also offers scenic walking trails and a charming barn equipped with a table tennis table and various games.

We raise chickens, providing fresh free-range eggs, alongside ducks and turkeys. Additionally, we maintain beehives that produce our own delicious honey. (The hives are situated away from the cottages, ensuring their presence remains unobtrusive.)

Guests are welcome to bring their bikes, which we can store for you in one of our barns. They are perfect for cycling to the nearby market town of Rosporden to collect fresh baguettes and croissants in the morning.

We live at Keranmeriet and are here to welcome you on arrival , whilst we try to be unobtrusive we are also available if you need help or advice whilst here.

The gîte is laid out over 3 levels:

The lounge area has two 3 seater sofas, coffee tables, a wood burning stove, French and English satellite TV, DVD, speaker for mobile phone and free Wifi. Toys and books.
The Kitchen is fully equipped,(dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, large fridge freezer, Tassimo coffee machine).
Dining area has a pine dining table with 6 chairs.

Has two single beds, bedside cabinets, a wardrobe and dressing table and stool overlooking the Aven valley

Minaouet boasts a charming private fenced garden offering picturesque views of the surrounding gardens and woods. The garden features a delightful patio and lawn area equipped with a BBQ, parasol, table and chairs, and comfortable sun loungers, perfect for outdoor relaxation and dining.

Linen/towel hire is not included in the rental price. This gives you flexibility and also takes away the extra commission that is added on when booking on the platform. Linen & towel hire 15€ per guest.
Cleaning is left to the discretion of guests; however, we can provide this service upon request,(80€).

We ask our Guests to leave the Gite as they found it, if you prefer not to clean on departure this can be organised and the charge is 80€.

Highchairs, cots as well as other baby equipment available free of charge.

Entertainment
When you want to leave the farm you will find that there are many attractions and places of interest within a short drive. We also live here and are happy to answer questions or give advice on places to visit.

Accommodation is on three floors in a converted farm building. Plenty of space, well equipped, and comfortably and attractively furnished. There is a reasonably-sized heated pool, and pleasant walks around the farm and through adjacent woodland. Very peaceful, despite being not far from the road, and only a mile or two from a town with all the necessary amenities. A short drive to several attractive towns and beaches. The owners were very welcoming, and always available for advice and help if necessary. Recommended for both families, and couples without children outside the school holidays.

We had a beautifully clean and very well appointed 3-bedroom, 3-storey cottage in the corner of the farm building complex. We arrived around 8pm, an hour or so later than planned after a slow drive from Cherbourg but were welcomed warmly by Erika. She introduced us to our cottage where the wood burner was already alight. The details of the arrangements for our stay were considerately left until later the following morning. The farm was not busy during our stay which meant that we were able to leave our car conveniently right outside the front door. We were able to come and go as we chose, and to be as independent as we wanted, knowing that Erika and Rob would be happy to help us with anything that we needed. Our short week was busy, and we realise that we were only able to scratch the surface of what was available to see and do in the area, and there was much exploring of the local area that we could have done. Our departure went equally smoothly. Our thanks to Erika and Rob for providing an ideal holiday destination, and congratulations on their amazing achievement.

We now try to spend all of our allotted holiday time in this beautiful place. It is heaven on earth for us. The owners, Rob and Erika Topping are very attentive and accommodating without being intrusive. The facilities provided are second to none! So much so that it has become a home from home for us and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we are in our beloved Brittany. Outstanding accommodation at very reasonable prices :-)

We've been holidaying at Keranmeriet for the last 9 years, soon to be 10. It's truly a beautiful place in every respect. The gites are located in the Brittany countryside and close to beaches, amenities and historic cities.The accommodation is of a very high standard with everything you'd need for a relaxing holiday, not forgetting the heated swimming pool for lazy days. The owners, Rob, Erika and family make you feel so welcome and couldn't be more helpful.
