Stayed Aug 17, 2019Fabulous villa and pool.. quiet area of northern Portugal 15 minutes from ponte de Lima.. good local restaurants and interesting local markets.. plenty of river swimming and only 35mins from the coast with lovely pretty wild/ windy beaches. Villa itself very comfortable air con welcome..very good facilities comfy beds and plenty of towels. Immaculately clean on arrival. Lovely hosts who kindly provided wine port and pastries as a welcome. Also very good source of local info on good eateries and swimming..we were two separate families and house worked really well to preserve privacy- all bedrooms have own en-suite.The pool was large and fabulous and garden beautiful and full of orange lime and fig trees. Surprisingly few mosquitos/ biting beasts..pool quite deep which may be minor issue if little ones coming.Really cannot fault this place ... stunning.
