Stayed Aug 10, 2025Steve's cottage perfectly fit our needs with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the lower level, and 2 upstairs with a private bath for ourselves. The fireplace created a cozy ambience on early mornings and cooler evenings, although for the most part the weather was hot and glorious. Our comfort during the night was ensured by a very efficient air conditioning system. The cottage is very well equipped and functional, and the huge TV in the comfortable living room would please any sports fan, not to mention the shuffle board table is a fun touch. We really enjoyed the location, albeit the waterfront is reedy, but the parade of passing boats, all unique and old Muskoka, made our time on the huge front deck a joy. Altogether, our time was wonderful, and Steve was attentive and caring.

Stayed Sep 19, 2025Immaculate cottage. Lovely view of quiet bay. Enjoyed kayaking and fun corn hole games. Fun times on the dock and deck. Close to Port Carling for supplies and dining out. Host Steve was very helpful and replied back immediately if we had questions.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025This year the girls decided to accompany the boys on their annual fishing adventure. The cottage was perfect for three couples allowing each couple to have the privacy of their own bedroom and bathroom. The decks were perfect for the amazing lake views and the chipmunks were friendly! Steve answered Every concern we had within minutes.

Stayed May 16, 2025We booked this cottage for a long weekend get-together with friends. We all love the Muskoka area and the location of the cottage sounded perfect. We absolutely loved everything about this place. A big beautiful deck overlooking the water, a large open-area living/ dining room with plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. Very well-furnished with plenty of outdoor deck furniture to lounge on. Kitchen was well-equipped and bathrooms well-appointed with lots of towels and amenities. The cottage has obviously been renovated-every room looks fresh and new. Beds were super comfortable. Our host Steve was wonderful. Always available to answer our questions, offer suggestions for outings, etc. We can’t wait to come back to this lovely place next year!

Stayed Dec 28, 2024I cannot say enough great things about this cabin. From the moment we walked in, we were enamored with the gorgeous views of the lake from the picture windows. Although our winter visit coincided with a rainy spell, we stayed happy with lots of fun things to do in the area, a cozy and warm cabin, & great WiFi. The cabin is perhaps even more spacious than it appears from the photos, with comfy beds and sofas. It is also very clean and obviously well cared for. The gas fireplace was lovely. There is a cabinet with board/card games as well as a standing table shuffleboard game. The extremely large smart TV was nice for the nights we didn't want to venture out into the rain. The kitchen may not be large, but it is well-equipped with a Keurig coffeemaker & everything we needed for our stay. The dining room table is large & perfect for meals/games.The owner Steve was incredibly communicative from the beginning, offering to answer any questions about the area & to make recommendations. It was very reassuring to know that Steve lives nearby & if we had any trouble during our stay, he would help. My family can't wait to make plans to return to this cabin. It is in a fabulous location, on the lake between Port Carling & Bracebridge. The nearby Huckleberry Rock Lookout trail offers an amazing overview of Lake Muskoka, and Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery (offering great snowshoeing & wine tasting) is only 20 mins away. Thank you, Steve, for a wonderful stay!

Stayed Oct 4, 2024The actual condition is better than listed. I, a Chinese middle aged tourist who has never seen Steve so far, would like to tell you a lot of impressive things in such a cozy and picturesque cottage. But here I only want to share with you one story which is most impressed me. When I checked the list I found there is no fire pit. . I just tried to double check with Steve. He replied there was no fire pit however he can send me a SOLO fire pit for ambience and maybe able to roast mushrooms. He did send me a package in the second day. When open I found it was a brand new SOLO fire pit which is made of SUS304 stainless steel! Inside the package he put some pieces of firelot and even one lighter which was sealed by plastic bag, preventing from raining! I was so moved that I couldn’t help but say that Steve is the most considerate Host I have ever met during my hundreds of tour. Sam Cell:416 995 3878

Stayed Aug 18, 2024Steve was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Extremely helpful and incredibly responsive. We had several questions and he always responded quickly. The cottage is extremely spacious, clean and well outfitted. The water is very shallow, but still OK for swimming. The floating dock was very useful. Lots of waterfront accessories.

Stayed Jul 26, 2024We stayed at this cottage for a week and it was an absolute delight! Very, very clean and spacious, a lovely big deck for morning coffees and lots of room on the U shaped dock for the littles to catch sunfish and rock bass from! Comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, the teens appreciated the Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Close to Port Carling as well as Bracebridge. Steve was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Although you can't really swim from the dock, we found a great kid friendly beach/park 6 mins away (Hanna park) We will definitely stay here again! Thank you Steve!
