On the edge of Ilfracombe town and boasting superb sea views over the Bristol Channel, this terraced house offers spacious accommodation that’s perfect for a group getaway to the North Devon coast. With large rooms and a sunny garden, there’s ample space to relax together after days out on the many sandy beaches nearby.


Inside, the accommodation is presented in a mix of period and modern furnishings. A large hallway with parquet flooring leads into the cosy living roomwith comfy seating. A separate dining room with large table seating eight is the ideal place for a family meal and to discuss the day’s activities. The small galley-style kitchen is fully equipped and has views over Ilfracombe. There is also a smaller snug with toys, which is perfect for children to have their own space. The four bedrooms are arranged across the first and second floors, with both double rooms having a seating area in the window – the perfect spot for enjoying an early morning coffee whilst taking in the lovely sea views. The bedrooms share two bathrooms, both found on the first floor, and a separate shower room on the second floor. Step outside to share family feasts in the rear garden, which has a small patio area with garden furniture. The sloping lawn is accessed via some steep steps.


Ilfracombe has plenty to please a crowd, including a wide range of pubs, restaurants and cafes – the town centre and harbour are around 0.5 miles away. Spend the day on Wildersmouth Beach (1 mile) or take the kids for a fun day out at Watermouth Castle (3 miles) or Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (6.5 miles). Well worth a visit, the beaches of Woolacombe Bay (7.5 miles) and the hills of Exmoor National Park (2 miles) both offer stunning scenery.
