Prepare yourself for a big family holiday. This Victorian holiday villa is perfect for a large group and has room for everyone, including the dog. Stay in style in the beautiful seaside town of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, where you can play on the beach, learn about the local history and immerse yourself in culture.

The living area of the property is an open-plan lounge/diner. There is a bay window which fills the area with natural light, plus comfortable sofas and plenty of books to keep youentertained. There are six seats around the dining table, beyond which, through an archway, is the kitchen. Everything is decorated in an eclectic 1970s style. You’ll have the choice of two bathrooms, one of which is a ground-floor shower room. The property has four bedrooms: two singles, a twin and a king-size bedroom with another bay window. It’s a charming retreat after a long day – perhaps choose from the fantastic selection of books for your evening reading. This villa has a patio garden to the rear, enclosed by a high wooden fence for added security. You can store bikes and beach equipment here or fire up the BBQ on warm days and eat at the little table.

You’ll be in an incredible location with the sea about 100 metres away, so it’s easy to get in for an early-morning swim or go for a romantic stroll along the beach. The rest of Aldeburgh is lovely: there are some great pubs, fish and chip shops, places to shop and two art galleries. Oh, and a giant scallop sculpture! If you’d like to go birdwatching or get into nature, visit Snape Marshes (6 miles) or Haven Nature Reserve (1 mile).
