3628 Stylish and Cozy Mission Beach Cottage just steps away from the sand

Nice place, convenient to lots of things, we had a nice time and having a parking spot was great

Location is excellent. Lots of cafés, restaurants, and of course, the beach. The parking spot is great, though a little tricky to maneuver in and out of, given the super narrow alleys. Just be careful.The place itself is quite smaller than it looks in the photos, though it mostly served is purpose for us (2 adults, 2 kids). Don't plan to do much cooking; the kitchen has got the bare necessities. Nothing more. You have to do the dishes after every meal, else you won't have any dishes for the next meal. We had to use a pot for a salad bowl, because there were no large bowls. All that cupboard space and totally empty!Also, if you are sensitive to strong smells, beware. We had to unplug all the plug-ins and open up all the windows to dissipate some of the scent, and even 10 days after coming home, we still can smell the plug-ins and detergent used in the unit on our clothing. Yuck!All that said, we really enjoyed our time in Mission Beach and would recommend this place if you don't plan to cook and you don't care how it smells!

The accommodation was clean and plenty of space for a family of 4 with two teenage boys. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. In terms of improvement: The property would benefit from more towel's. We had 4 big towels but reality is you could do with double that The property could do with a more homely feel. It’s clean and well done but needs a little more of a personal touch. It felt a little bare. All being said it was a good base for San Diego and steps away from the beach.

This rental is very close to the beach. It is clean and cute!

I loved staying at the cozy mission beach cottage! It was so nice being so close to the beach! It was very comfy and I felt very safe! Great walkability to beach and restaurants and our host was very kind and quick to respond! Definitely would recommend!
