Great little cottage right on the lake. Had everything we needed when we got there except the food, which we picked up at Meijer in Big Rapids! Games, kayaks, paddle board, rafts, beach toys, chairs, hammock, movies, washer/dryer etc all there and ready to use. Fish off the dock for sunfish and bass. Water is shallow enough at the shoreline for a 4yr old to enjoy lots of water play without concern. We also went on a couple day trips during the week but enjoyed the majority of the time right there at the cottage. Property owner is awesome. This is the 6th time we’ve rented a lake house with VRBO and Karen is by far the best property owner we’ve rented from! Very accessible, easy going and has all the answers :). Thank you!!
Awesome experience, very clean and comfortable. Cottage was well stocked with everything we needed for a week. All we had to do was buy the food.
Nice clean lake with sandy beach and swimming area. Plenty of chairs down at the beach and lots of floats for the kids. Kayaks and paddle board was great. The steps were great for a little exercise. Well-stocked kitchen with all that we needed. Mattresses and bedding could use an upgrade.
We had a wonderful stay at this Cottage! The walk down to the beach was always fun and we loved waking up to the beautiful lake every morning. Our children loved playing I'm a little Beach and had so much fun in the nice clean water! The neighbors were all very friendly and it was fun to walk around the area as well. We would highly recommend this rental!
The cottage is great, very private (Felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves during the week) with a wonderful swimming area for young children. It is shallow and sandy bottom and has great fishing. We brought our fishing boat and caught pike, bass, and plenty of bluegill during the week. Cottage was well appointed with everything you need and Karen is wonderful to work with. Our daughter already wants to go back next year. Just book it, you won’t regret it!!
Karen was super responsive to all my questions and the house was super well stocked! The beach was fantastic and the lake was beautiful.
Excellent, nice and quiet, clean, water is great, beach is great as well
Beautiful setting! Loved the upper deck and view of lake. Nice sandy beach was great for our grand kids. Loved the paddle board and kayaks. We also brought a couple of our own kayaks and small fishing boat. Room for everything and something to occupy everyone. Good fishing too ~ amazing fish dinner! Cottage was nicely decorated and clean. Great porch with lots of windows. Karen was always available to answer questions.
We had an incredible time! The cottage was clean and had everything you needed. We have been renting places each summer with other family members. This place checked off many items on our list. The sandy beach was incredible! Beautiful lake! Karen was always willing to reach out and answer questions. The stairs can be a bit challenging for some but, I am definitely considering renting again for next year! Thanks, Karen!
We had an excellent week get away! The place was clean and decorated nicely. They have 2 kayaks, a paddle board and a large water mat that we used all week. The water was clear and was sandy...great for setting up a volleyball net in the water. The deck overlooking the lake was used for morning coffee, cooling off in the shade and for making smores at night. We had a great week and will look to book again next year!
