Stayed Feb 22, 2024Well what can i say, stayed in quite a few cottages in the Lakes over the years, but can honestly say not many can beat this, immaculately presented cottage in the heart of Windermere. Everything you need is there, and its all quality, from pots and pans to bedding. The location is great right in the centre of Windermere but its so peaceful. Plenty of parking on site. Definitely would stay here again. Thankyou.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great little find in Windermere. Really convenient for restaurants especially cafe italia which was excellent. Train and bus very near and ideal when visiting the local but busy beauty spots. The cottage had everything you needed and a nice little garden outside an unusual find in a town. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Having stayed in Swallows Nest previously we did not have any hesitation in booking it again. The open plan living suited us well and the outside space was a bonus. Location wise it is right in the heart of the village. The only issue we had was my wife likes the instruction book for all the utilities in the property. It was stated that these would be on the coffee table but it was missing from the whole of the property. Other than that 10/10. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
