3 bedroom accommodation in Bude

Could do with some tlc ie painting ,new toilet brushes etc the beds where comfy location was excellent, pool table and pool was a bonus as I said if it had some tlc it would be perfect over all lovely stay

We've been here many times it works for us wheelchair lift and pool hoist / pool being the main plus points the main weakness is the curved living room sofa which is too low and bottom falling out of it and only fit for 3 adults to watch tv. We take with us air cushions and/two large arm chair cushions to raise the height by 5 inches and elephant feet for the small side table. We take 2 pool floats, and use cardboard to stop the main bed moving when sitting down on it plus an air fryer, light sticks set to motion sensor for night time trips to the loo (as light switch is on the wrong side of the door if left open like we do) be aware no tall hooks / chair in the pool area no high hooks in bedroom one to hang anything bedroom 2 is fine bedroom 3 very basic. Riverside fit for 6 adults not really but I'd say max 4 adults 2 children. Garden is good for the dogs. We also bring a firestick for the tv (of which sound could be better and it’s a bit too high up the wall) Property lacks a spare key so you have to use the key box all the time (with the key box you have to have a light if returning when dark and bend low) The owner is responsive to faults if made aware. The back decking has been replaced and is a lovely sun trap and a new wet room floor laid. As with all properties it has on going maintenance issues and is only as good as the care given by renters however it's perfect if someone in the party has poor mobility so long as another adult is around to assist. No downstairs toilet may be an issue. We take huggies to change into when leaving the pool. My wife’s mobility is limited so we have Zimmerframe/Wheelchair/mobile scooter with us. Games room is nice but has an on going slightly leaking roof over the pool table so keep the pool table cover on. We’ve been here many times now with our two dogs the walks along the canal and over the point are brilliant with nearly everything you’ll need shop wise close by. We’re be back as soon as possible

Visited this house in November 2019 and was very pleased with it. House is warm, clean and comfortable and the en-suite walk-in wet-room with mobile commode was invaluable for the very elderly, disabled guest. Garden was lovely and perfectly secure even for my adventurous terrier. Pool and games room were a very welcome luxury and the welcome pack was a nice touch and one of the better ones available. It is situated within walking distance of all the amenities and beaches of the lovely Bude and the owner was very friendly and helpful. I would happily go back here again and certainly recommend it. Cottage provided everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Absolutely loved the wood burner in the cold, wet and windy evenings. My Downs syndrome son loved the private swimming pool and pool table, and everything was accessible for my mum in her wheelchair. Would definitely recommend.

Well this was not my first choice but whilst in Bude and seeing the other choices I have to say that the right choice was made in choosing Riverside. This property is an ideal holiday residence. Location is perfect as it is a short walk to the town centre, beach and canal. You also have Morrison’s and Aldi a short walk from the property or literally a 4 minute drive including Esso for fuel and a Leisure Centre! There are also local walks available from Bude and the added bonus of the Sea Pool. The property itself is upside down so you enter on to the bedroom floor. It is spacious and as stated adapted for wheelchair users. The pool and games room are added bonuses as is the private parking. Beds were comfy, property was clean and most of what is needed is provided. Outside garden is a nice size and we were fortunate with weather to be able to sit outside on the decking. Upon arrival we had an amazing welcome pack which was gratefully received. Contact with owner Martin was very good and any issues were quickly and easily resolved. The only thing I would mention and I am aware that the owner has done all that can possibly be done to rectify the issue including insulating the wall and that is the constant sound of the swimming pool pump which can still be heard in the property and in particular the lounge and twin back bedroom. You do get used to it as the days go on but the noise is consistent. The other factor is the property is on the main road into Bude so traffic can be heard from the front bedroom. However, Riverside is a lovely holiday property in an ideal location and we would most certainly return.

Riverside Cottage, fabulous location, close to centre, beach. The cottage itself has everything you need from cutlery to towels. Very good pool table, swimming pool and dart board. All beds made up on arrival with fresh crisp white sheets . Ideal for couples, families and also for those with walking difficulties, due to the floor plan and lift installed.

Well situated for the amenities of Bude A downstairs toilet would be a great addition as would be more lounge seating A dustpan and brush would be helpful and more forks

upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely WELCOME basket ! the property is upside down ,through the front door you have 3 bedrooms ,including a disabled en suite, which was great for my father in law ,who is an leg amputee . there is also a lift, so he could get fully around the property. downstairs there is a full kitchen and dining room table for 6 .then around the staircase a wrap around sofa to watch the tv .there is also a games room ,with a pool table and dart board, with views over the large garden . there is a wonderful indoor pool , with hot tub jets and a hoist ,which was great to get my father in law in and out of the pool . there is a large decking area with seated benches for 8 .which my two west highland terriers absolutely loved the garden too. the property is very close to the centre of Bude , which offers a few pubs and restaurants ,and a good selection of shops and cafes . the property is also close to the A39,which we used daily to travel to nearby NEWQUAY,PADSTOW and BOSCASTLE, amongst other beautiful locations. the property has private parking for 3 cars. we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at RIVERSIDE, and would recommend it to ANYONE ,wanting a comfortable base,close to local pubs and supermarket closeby.
