This beautifully updated holiday cottage enjoys a quiet location in the picturesque North Cornwall village of St Merryn. Ideally placed for exploring the Seven Bays, the property lies in a quiet residential area and features a stylish open-plan living area, delightful garden and a sunny conservatory with a tennis table. Offering spacious accommodation for up to six guests across three cosy bedrooms, this light-filled hideaway makes a great base for couples, families and friends discovering the area’s quaint coves, cheerful harbours and beautiful secluded beaches.

Entering the property you will find the airy open-plan lounge/diner with a central electric fire in a stone surround dividing the lounge and dining area. The lounge is a perfect space to settle back, chat about the day or plan the next day’s events, while the sociable dining table is ideal for enjoying a family feast together. The ground floor also features a sleek, beautifully arranged galley-style kitchen and a spacious, light-filled conservatory with a tennis table and seating. Upstairs, you will find a stylish bathroom and three relaxing bedrooms, all with low sloping ceilings: there’s a cheery twin room and two pretty king-size rooms both with rural views, one with a TV. Outside, the large enclosed garden has a big lawn and a picnic bench, an ideal spot for spending a lazy summer’s afternoon in the sun.

St Merryn is a fabulous base for exploring the glorious Seven Bays, all within 2.5 miles. The cheerful harbour town of Padstow is to the east (3 miles) with a fabulous variety of pubs and seafood restaurants. To the west are the beautiful beach at Mawgan Porth (6 miles) and the popular seaside resort of Newquay (11 miles). Local attractions include Prideaux Place, the National Lobster Hatchery and Trevose Golf and Country Club, all within 3.5 miles.
