Nice property- good location

Very comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our stay

The unit was clean and comfortable for our family and was in a very good location. However, the coffee maker on counter was not functional, can use a cleaning. We used another coffee maker in cupboard which could also use a cleaning. The toaster did not work either. Linens (towels, bedsheets) are old and faded. No bath supplies (shampoo/conditioner) in upstairs bathroom. This unit needs more careful attention to housekeeping aspects.

This was a fabulous place to stay. I would do it again! Clean, everything we needed. Central location. Thank you!!!!

Location was great. Home is large and well equipped and cosy. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to the Parksville area to visit family

Clean , well stocked and well cared for. Beds were so comfortable. Two bedrooms on the main floor so great for my family with mobility challenges. So close to restaurants and the beach. I will stay here again!

The place was spacious and clean, and close the beach and grocery stores. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Second time staying in this unit, love it. Decently equipped with everything you need. Could use a nice deep spring cleaning but in all honesty it’s not filthy and for the price everything is incredible. Don’t see it available for next summer which is sad.

Nice to have dogs allowed

Honestly I would recommend getting rid of the bbq, huge fire hazard, lights didn’t work and same with various plugins..cabin was cute, private..a lot of broken latches on gates and screen door.

House was very nice, kitchen was well equipped except for oven gloves. Main bedroom upstairs had no clothes hanging space. Otherwise all very good.

This unit is like home away from home. Kitchen well stocked, clean, and wonderful peaceful vibe. Location is close to town, 6 min to grocery store. This is our 3rd stay at Steves unit and will always book here. 100% love and sad to leave!

Loved being less than10 minutes away from the beach and the place was a cozy place to hang out. We particularly loved the pool!

The cabin was as expected which was top notch. It is a well designed user friendly cozy space which had all the amenities we wanted. One very small wish is that the light over the dining table be a bit brighter - hardly a big deal. If circumstances in our lives permit, we shall definitely return

Area is great! The house was perfectly comfortable for four of us and our dog. Basics, no frills house. Nice and warm.

This is a wonderful place. The front and back gated decks were awesome. The kitchen is well appointed, but remember to pack your S&P and all your spices. The bed was comfortable and the neighbourhood was great.

Cabin was as great, had all the items we needed and was super convenient to stay for our trip. Hot tub and pool access was also a welcome bonus.

Very comfortable spacious accommodation for our family of 5. Kitchen was well laid out with good cookware selection of pots and pans. Close to many area attractions.

Comfortable space, good location. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes/ utensils. Had everything we needed. Third “bedroom” is upstairs in a loft with no door and large open area in wall overlooking the downstairs. Beds were soft. A bit of a walk to the pool.

NICE SIZE AND WELL EQUIPED.REASONABLE CLEAN ATLOWER AREAS BUT ANYTHING HIGHER IS FOR TALL PEOPLE . SUSPECT MOLDIE SMELLIN MAIN BEDROOM. DRAIN IN MAIN BATHROOM IS NOT PROPERLY WORKING .

Great clean spacious location, house and amenities were as described.

The place was neat and cozy. It had pretty much everything you needed and stores are close if there is anything you forgot.

Great layout/space for family/extended family! Loved the gated front and back porches for little ones/pets. We really did enjoy our stay here, Parksville is such a fabulous summer get away. I only gave four stars because this VRBO could use a touch more hostess lovin' compared to the many others we've stayed in - no hand towels, broken lamp in living room and another couldn't turn on (maybe it was user error? lol!) only one key (two for a house of people would be helpful!) and dirty grills with cooked on food on the BBQ (which we cleaned as best as we could before and after using) . Kitchen was pretty bare boned supplied for dry goods (Bring your own oil. No seasonings/ aluminum foil/ saran wrap/ tea/ sugar for coffee/ napkins etc.) and its probably time to replace those old stained cutting boards. Bathrooms- be sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner (body wash is kindly provided). Can hear the traffic, so if you need to sleep with the windows open, just a heads up (no A/C). We were lucky, it wasn't too hot when we were there!

Love the trails and beaches

Three generations enjoyed the cabin immensely!Plenty of room on the decks, the open space inside and the well equipped kitchen. Just a couple minutes drive to the massive beach or a short walk through the public access point at Ti-Na-Mara. Our host was very attentive as well.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The detached home was clean and comfortable. The proximity to beaches and restaurants was great. The beds and bedding was very comfortable. All the amenities were perfect and we very much enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My daughter and I really enjoyed out stay. We have visited Parksville many times and this place is as advertised. Great location and a beautiful cottage. You won't go wrong here.

Was a perfect meet up place for us, it’s a centralized commute for lots of activities, sightseeing and eating places. The home had a warm, cozy and very comfortable feel for us. Our home was supplied with all the amenities we needed to have a carefree stay.

Comfortable, quick to warm up on arrival, nice and quiet, great for a good nights sleep. Kitchen equipment satisfactory, nice large fridge. Well kept. Thanks for the restful stay.

The property is very clean

The property was perfect for our stay in Parksville.It had everything we needed.The bathrooms could use a few more towels (hand & bath)The soap dispensers could use replacing as they were not working.

Our family of 6 adults had a fantastic stay at the cabin. Family games, walks to beach, even our family pets had a fun mini vacation!

Very comfortable place to stay for 6 adults. Very clean and quite well equipped. Perfect for our needs for a short, (3 day) off-season (1st week Dec.) visit. Google Maps had a little difficulty with the linked address on VRBO website but it got us close. Would definitely stay here again!

We took this trip last minute and were so pleased to find this vrbo available! It was conveniently central to where we have friends and the place itself was very cozy. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We were attending an event at Tigh Na Mara and this was the perfect location as we were right across the road from the resort. Super close to town and amazingly quiet

The property was clean, had everything we needed (blow dryer, shampoo, body wash, sugar). We loved the location and felt safe during stay. Would like to have known what the two small doors were to in upstairs room. The chairs in living room were not comfy but the couch was. Fireplace was nice.

Overall it was a good stay. There were a few minor things including burnt out light bulb of overhead light in one of the bedrooms, and no place to put clothes in upstairs bedroom. We wish that we could have figired out a way to bring our paddle boards and kayak to the water

Great spot! The cottage had everything we needed, really appreciated having a kitchen stocked with pots/pans, etc. as we were cooking most of our meals. Steve was a great host, very responsive to any questions I had. Would stay again.

The 4 of us had an amazing time, lots of space to visit and time to visit. Convenient to amenities and attractions.

A lovely stay in a lovely holiday cottage! Well equipped, well located. Very comfy stay. Would definitely come again!

Overall we enjoyed the location and the space was a great size for our family. The cottage could use a really good cleaning. For example, the window sills, light fixtures and baseboards were all very dusty, crumbs under sofa and cushions. Apart from a quick wipe and sweep, it was not cleaned very well prior to our arrival if at all. The towels in the upstairs bathroom were dirty and wet. Kitchen counter was sticky and bathroom floors dirty. For having to pay a cleaning fee of $170, I was disappointed in the overall state of cleanliness.

This place was great- comfy and clean and had everything we needed. Short drive to Rathtrevor beach and within 5 min to lots of food places. Rathtrevor beach is heaven for kids !

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! Had everything we needed. Location I gave 3 stars only because this cottage backs onto hwy 19A and is quite noisy with road traffic.

We were comfortable and found everything we needed. the key for the door (only one) is not convenient. A code is much better for multiple people. Wonderful little cottage!
