250 steps to beach & 4 blocks to boardwalk! Early/late in & out is standard!

Ms Ginny has been so kind to my family during their stay. This property was absolutely beautiful, the memories they made are above expectations. Cannot wait to stay here again.

Great house, even better location! Perfect for our short stay but I imagine it would also be great for a longer stay as well. Plenty of space for downtime before and after the beach! The location is ideal if you have little ones and need to lug things back back-and-forth from the beach.

Perfect place both as location and spotless home..

A quaint little cottage, beautifully decorated. It's very close to all the attractions. Stairs are a little tricky for seniors. Our host was quick to respond to all communications. We were very pleased and enjoyed our stay.

Host was very welcoming and the house was clean the house is very old and charming.

Everything was was easy from start to finish. The cottage was perfect for our return hime to visit family for Thanksgiving. Ginny was very easy tonwork with.

The space was perfect for a friend getaway! I’d suggest bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper, there’s some sort of dripping sound on the roof when it rains and it’s relatively loud.

It truly felt like a home away from home — warm, welcoming, and filled with the kind of comfort that reminded us of staying at Grandma’s. After more than 20 years of busy lives and not all being in the same room together, this stay brought us back in the best way. We came for a wedding, but now we’ve vowed to make this a yearly tradition.

The house is perfect for a weekend getaway or a week long stay. The home is equipped wtih anything you could need. Three nice sized bedrooms and two baths. Full washer and dryer are a bonus. Kitchen is fully stocked with full sized appliances. Awesome front and back screened-in porches for relaxing.

We had a great time at colonial beach. The accommodation was comfortable. The house had all of the amenities and tools that made cooking at home so easy. The host was very responsive and kind!

We loved everything about our stay!!! This home is so cozy, modern updates but still with the Colonial charm! The beds were so comfortable. The home had everything we could need and more. Smart tvs in every bedroom! 2 full bathrooms, 1 on each floor! Screen in front AND back porch...all linens and laudnry/soap supplies provided...i could go on and on. Ginny is SO quick and responsive. And kind! We even had welcome snacks. And the LOCATION!!! We have small children and could easily walk to the beach. We will be back!!! Thank you Ginny!!!!

We had a great time here. The cottage is just a couple of blocks from the beach with parking for 2 cars golf cart. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked VRBO kitchens I've ever seen. Lots of lamps, and we appreciated the portable fans to supplement the window units. I wish the weather would have allowed us to utilize the front and back screened porches but it stubbornly remained in the 90's the whole time. There was a very thoughtful gift bag for us along with a bowl of snacks. The beds were amazing - so comfortable! Perfect place for our 3 night stay in CB - we'd happily stay again.

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! Close to the beach and boardwalk, accomodations which offered everything needed to occupy young children, comfortable environment, and all the amenities. Ginny is an excellent host.

We loved this beach cottage! Our first time to Colonial Beach and we enjoyed our stay very much. The house was perfect for our family and the beds were so comfortable to crawl into after long days!

It was an incredibly relaxing weekend. Weather was beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is perfect, everything we needed. All the comforts of home in a beautiful beach cottage. My 2nd time at L&B and will definitely be back!!

My sister and I enjoyed our stay at your place. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and rocking on the rocking chairs and talking even in the heavy rain. The only thing better would have been if we could have spent more time on the beach without the rain. I didn't want to leave. We will be back. Soon.We

Nice quiet neighborhood close to the beach. We fished from the pier after dark Friday. Played Uno and Yahtzee before bed both nights. Enjoyed a sourdough class at the Community Center Saturday morning. Will be back!

We had a fantastic spring break getaway in Colonial Beach! The house was clean, bright, and full of natural light — a truly welcoming space from the moment we arrived. The property manager was excellent, with perfect communication from booking to checkout, making everything seamless.The location couldn’t have been better — walking distance to everything we needed, including a great local Mexican spot and a delicious Thai place that we really enjoyed. My three teenage boys also loved the house and everything it had to offer, which isn’t always easy to accomplish!Everything about our stay was comfortable, easy, and exactly what we hoped for. We’d absolutely return and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay in Colonial Beach!

Stayed here with my partner for the weekend and were very surprised with all the accommodations. Host made sure the house was stocked so that we could minimize what we brought with us. There were snacks, cooking supplies, movies, board games, you name it! She even left a little gift bag which was so sweet. Overall cleanliness was great. There were some kitchen items that needed to be rewatched but it wasn’t a big deal since everywhere else was fairly clean. Place is close to piers so I was able to go fishing. I came during off season but would def book again to enjoy the summer activities that Colonial has to offer!

This was our best stay in Colonial Beach so far! Ginny was a great host, making sure we got checked in and that everything was up to our standards. The house had plenty of room for the two of us. Would be great for two couples or a family with a few kids. The house was well equipped and had everything you could ever want! There are plenty of games, tvs, and space, including a nice screened in porch in the front and another in the back. The beds and bedding are super comfy. The best we’ve encountered in CB! Plenty of towels, and they were nice and plush. We will definitely rent again when we go back to Virginia to visit family! Thank you Ginny for everything!

Went there for a quiet weekend, close to beach, walked there. House was beautiful and clean, close to downtown. Wee worth a stay

The house was very comfortable, had all the comforts of home. Kitchen was ready for cooking. I'm sorry we couldn't stay more than 2 nights. Very quiet at this time of year, perfect for riding bicycle on the streets.

Nice quiet spot to stay not terribly far from the racetrack (MIR).

We were in town for the bike week event. Weather was beautiful, our cottage was perfect. Loved the proximity to the beach and downtown area, very walkable. Can’t wait to come back!!
