2 BR 2 BA Historic Cottage with free wifi, deck and dogs ok!

Everything was good. The house was clean and neat to stay in. There are a few things that could’ve been better. The pullout twin bed was pretty rough to sleep on. The metal was very painful so my kids had to sleep on the floor. I would really say this was a place only for about 4 people not 6. Also the dryer wouldn’t dry clothes at all. It looked like maybe the vent was bundled up too much and wouldn’t allow the clothes to dry.

Beautiful and comfortable cottage located in historic downtown Savannah. We enjoyed the easy access to the downtown area with plenty of space to relax and celebrate Christmas. Nicely equipped kitchen. Really appreciated the onsite patking. The only thing we did not consider is that the upstairs bedroom does not have a door so it is noisy if you try to sleep while others are awake. Otherwise pretty perfect!

We were not impressed with the overall condition and cleanliness of this VRBO, especially when considering the price that was charged for it. This place is in need of some updates considering what is charged. Check-in and -out was easy and without problems, so we did not have to interact with the host or company.The ceiling fan in the first floor bedroom was broken, the pull-string for the fan is gone and the fan was constantly running when the light was turned on. The water pressure in both showers was unacceptably low and it took forever to get showered. The upstairs bathroom door was damaged. The upstairs bathroom tub was dirty with long hair from previous visitors. The upstairs bedroom mattress was caving inwards and should be replaced. Altogether, the encountered conditions do not reflect at all the price for the stay.

The property management company was friendly and quick to respond when needed. The house was perfect for 3 girls. The white towels and sheets were a plus and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. The house is only a 15-20 minute walk from main attractions.

We had a great stay, nothing to complain about - everything was as advertised. Nice property in a convenient location for historic Savannah. Booking was easy, will definitely book thru Vacasa in the future.

This property was in a perfect location - very close to everything. It captured the ambience of Savannah (built in 1870). However, the router was missing, therefore we had no WiFi and TV couldn’t be used. We contacted VRBO, and they said they’d forward our request to the local team, but no one ever remedied the situation. Also, the upstairs fan light couldn’t be turned off without completely turning off the fan, which we didn’t want to do due to the heat of the summer. We had to pull out box fans from the closet- one worked, one didn’t at night since we couldn’t use the ceiling fan. All in all, a good stay, but those minor issues at the beginning were a bit frustrating.

We had difficulty finding the address based on the directions given to us. It would have been better if they said that the entrance was on an alley between Taylor and Jones. Instead we wandered around the dark trying to find the place. The house was cute and comfy and in great location. The downstairs/main TV wasn't working and we called and messaged Vacasa and the owner. They did not respond until 48 hours later and by then we had someone come in to properly attach the cables.

The cottage was exceptionally clean. It was in a great location for walking. I only have one suggestion and that would be to have the upholstery cleaned on the living room chair. The arms were a bit sticky and dirty. But everything else in the cottage was very clean. The floors were so clean as well as the bathrooms. Bedding was also very clean and comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay. The location of the home is in an alley behind the beautiful Jones Street. We walked a little path to then walk down Jones Street. It’s breathtaking.

Lovely little cottage within 1 miles walking distance of just about everything. On a quiet street so there was NO traffic unless you lived there. Very cozy!

The location was great. Close enough to the historic district but not so close to be in the middle of the chaos. The turn was a little hard to find, but the instructions in the check in email were really helpful.

I enjoyed staying at this location with my two cousins. Though hot in Savannah we were able to walk to many great sites and restaurants in town within 15-30mins. The house worked well for the three of us. Some quirky things to work through (ex. the toilet had a unique flush handle and the shower had to point to the wall so as to not get water all over the floor in the downstairs bathroom), but not really a problem after figuring this all out. I would recommend this place and I would consider staying here again in the future.

Lovely little quint to cottage. Just slightly off the beaten path however convenient to everything. Just read the welcome notebook as you start to settle in for your stay. There are things you need to know that help your stay. There are some unique features about the house. I would book again. The price point was right for my family.
