Stayed Dec 1, 2024This is a great alternative to a city centre hotel, the cottage is very clean, quiet and within a short walk to all the attractions of Canterbury. I stayed with my wife and 2 children and we had all we needed for the weekend. Lindsay was a great host and communication was quick. We had no issues at all during our stay and would recommend this cottage.

Stayed Sep 25, 2024Location 10 out of 10. Everything you need for a stay in Canterbury. Tiny bathroom (your knees touch the wall while sitting on the toilet limited head room in the shower). The mattresses are due for replacement.

Stayed Jun 27, 2024Wonderful location, suitable for 2 adults and up to 2 children. One caveat, do not use Google maps to try to find it, it will lead you down the wrong laneway. It's within walking distance to the train station, a real plus if you do not have a car.

Stayed Sep 17, 2023Steam Packet Cottage is in an excellent location very near the Westgate, in easy walking distance from the whole center. The cottage was well appointed with everything we needed, and we only grumbled about the very cramped toilet. The only other challenge was parking. We chose to park a 12 minute walk away at Sainsbury’s, the best deal. Overall we were very pleased with our cottage and our stay.
