Stayed Oct 21, 2025The Parlour at Bedborough Farm Cottages not only meets but exceeds expectations with a 4.5 out of 5 rating, offering exceptional comfort and practicality in a family-friendly setting. The property boasts a thoughtfully designed layout with spacious rooms, a master bedroom with an opulent ensuite featuring a roll-top bath, and a kitchen well-equipped to handle any family meal. The presence of smart TVs and a luxurious hot tub enhances relaxation opportunities, although the smaller TV sizes remind guests that the real beauty lies in the surrounding Dorset retreat. For families, The Parlour is particularly appealing. Children can revel in the joy of a bedroom equipped with its own TV and enjoy adventures in the garden's playhouse. The property’s setup is mindful of young families, providing a safe and engaging environment for children to play and explore.Pet owners will find The Parlour exceedingly accommodating. The property's layout and facilities consider the comfort and mobility of pets, ensuring they feel as welcome as their human counterparts. The surrounding area offers numerous walking trails perfect for morning strolls with furry friends, making it an ideal location for pet-friendly holidays. The Parlour’s strategic location offers easy access to a plethora of attractions suitable for all family members—from beaches and rural walks to quality dining and shopping options. However, potential visitors should be prepared for some traffic challenges when accessing the busy A31.Despite these many virtues, our stay was significantly dampened by ongoing construction work that was not disclosed prior to our visit. This oversight affected the peaceful enjoyment of the outdoor amenities and raised concerns about privacy due to the proximity and visibility of construction workers. The continued disturbances, contrary to initial assurances that they would cease, were particularly disappointing. In summary, while The Parlour is an excellent choice for families and pet owners, and offers a wealth of amenities and attractions, the lack of communication regarding nearby construction was a notable flaw. Future guests should enquire about the status of construction activities to fully enjoy the tranquility and privacy that The Parlour aims to provide. This caveat aside, the property remains a top choice, assuming the external disruptions are resolved.

Stayed Apr 20, 2025Lovely spacious accommodation and fabulous hot tub. Well equipped kitchen and wine and chocolates left were a nice touch. My son loved the games room and used it on several occasions. Beds were really comfortable. Seeing the little deers daily in the field was amazing.Only negatives were that there was some sort of construction work going on right next to the accommodation and banging etc started between 7.30-8.00am so couldn’t really have a nice lie in. Also TV in bedroom wouldn’t pick up any channels and the TV in the living room kept losing channels.

Stayed May 15, 2023Home from home set in gorgeous surroundings. From your own hot tub to the wild life that surrounds you. These converted cottages and the history behind them make it even more enjoyable. We visited Bournemouth, swanage, durdle door (a must do) and Christchurch so set in a great location. Would definitely come back and would highly recommend.
