Lovely little cottage, very cosy and comfortable. The best selection of complimentary nibbles we have ever experienced ! Parking is a bit of a challenge but this is the same everywhere in Whitstable. Great value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay at Anchor Cottage as it was ideally situated to walk into the main parts of Whitstable. The cottage was clean and well appointed. We were unaware the back garden backs onto a railway line, as this was not clear in the listing. However this did not detract from our stay. The only other frustration was the lack of information in the Welcome pack relating to when and how to put rubbish/recycling out.

We booked the cottage as we love Whitstable and we had a weekend before Xmas visiting friends and family. We were very happy with the cottage which more than met our expectations, in terms of cleanliness and the ample toiletries and 'basics' in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the lounge has a big-screen tv and the overall decot gives the appearance of being light and airy. The only two things to mention are: 1 we arrived on a very cold evening and the heating hadn't been on for some time, and it took a few hours for the cottage to feel warm, and 2 the bathroom is situated off the main bedroom so occupants of the 2nd bedroom have to walk through the main bedroom to get there, ok for a family but not for two couples. But overall very pleased.
