The location and the fact that it included parking were great. The cottage was warm, comfortable and well thought out.

I would like to give this 5 stars but I am unable to do so because of the local church which is very close to the cottage. For whatever reason, the bells were ringing out at all sorts of times — including 11pm, 2am and 6am!!The sound of the bells made it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep.Someone needs to report this and get it stopped.

Beautiful, cozy cottage in a central location, only a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Well equipped for couples and families. There are two parking spaces, but their location is not obvious on arrival and it would be advantagous for this information to be in the arrival instructions rather than just in the visitors book inside the cottage. The only thing that spoilt our stay, as light sleepers, was the church bells sounding every 15 minutes with only a couple of hours respite in the early hours.

Most enjoyable, well appointed cottage comfortable central to the town. Plenty to do and see with the railway nearby. We are looking forward to coming back next year. The Young family.

Overall very good after initial problems with accessing the property, given the wrong keycode, the address given, although technically correct was not the name on the property, unable to contact anyone, it was after 9 pm on a Saturday though. After all this, once access was gained the property was lovely, easy access to everything and full of charm and character. Recommend a stay here

We had a lovely holiday the Cottage was in the heart of Pickering near the shops or to have a meal and a drink in the evening also for touring around the area. The cottage was well appointed well maintained and very comfortable. We did have an issue which was rectified the same day. I would recommend this cottage.
