As well as coastal walks, the River Alde and surrounding areas can be explored on foot. Minsmere Bird Sanctuary lies just up the coast towards Southwold. The town of Southwold is ideal for visiting the famous Adnams Brewery. Just up the Sailors’ Path, following the River Alde, is Snape, famous for the Snape Maltings Concert Hall.
