19 Bolt Head is a reverse level, two-bedroom property situated in a quiet, elevated position, just a 5 minute walk to the popular sandy beach of South Sands. Guests can also enjoy a leisurely 30-45minute stroll in to the heart of the town or alternatively catch the South Sands ferry which runs from South Sands beach every 30 minutes. This well-presented accommodation has a spacious open plan living area on the first floor, 2 terraces and Wifi. 19 Bolt Head is the perfect property for a family or two couples wanting to be close to the beach and the South West Coastal Path. Allocated parking space for one large car, please note that the main allocated car park has a 1.9m height restriction.

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

    Despite repeated requests well in advance the king size bed was not prepared as twins although I was told twice that housekeeping was sent the request. It was very annoying and inconvenient for our family. Also thought g if acing to take bottles off the premises was ridiculous as recycling should be offered on site. Nice place overall

    Lovely property.Heating was excellent- important as the weather was dreadful! South Sands is a 30 minute walk from Salcombe which was fine for us but others may wish for a central location. It would have been helpful to know this on the website. Other than that the property was great.
