1/2 Mi to Balboa Park: Cottage w/ Private Yard!

Absolutely wonderful property! This charming cottage is very secluded with great access to restaurants and shopping. Great outdoor space, very comfortable beds, and just a wonderful place overall.

We had a great stay! The location is excellent. Walkable neighborhood with great restaurants and grocery options. Close to everything. House was immaculate and the beds were really comfortable. It was perfect for 4 adults. Loved the fire pit and yard. Would definitely book this place again!

Very nice clean cottage that is well appointed. Kitchen had a full complement of cookware and utensils. Outside foliage was beautiful. We would stay again anytime.

Property has two independent houses with some private and some shared spaces. We couldn’t hear our neighbors after hours, so we didn’t even notice the other guests.The beds are ridiculously comfortable, and we have talked about coming back just to recharge. There are some wonderful restaurants and stores within a reasonable walking distance. We felt like we could get around easily. Also, good street parking if you have a car.

Great location and house

I am originally from San Diego and I come back frequently to visit. I have both lived in and stayed in places all over San Diego for years, and this cottage is by far my favorite. You couldn’t ask for a better setup and location. So many wonderful cafes/restaurants and Balboa Park are in walking distance, and downtown, Little Italy and the best beaches (including Sunset Cliffs) are a quick drive. I will stay here again next year!

We loved our stay at the darling, cozy Fox Hollow cottage! The home was incredibly clean with high end appliances, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and all the amenities. Our contact host, Becky,was fabulous!! We would definitely stay in the future!!

We had an absolute WONDERFUL stay at this cottage. and the cottage was clean and well stocked with everything you needed! The host was very responsive and friendly! The grounds on the property were immaculate and the backyard was the perfect evening bonus. We will definitely stay here again!!

We had a lovely weekend in this adorable, clean and amazingly well-stocked cottage. Late evenings by the outdoor fire pit capped off beautiful days exploring the city and catching two great plays at the Old Globe. So close to restaurants. Easy parking. We hope the cottage is available the next time we return.

Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden in a delightful, quiet neighborhood. It had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Parking was easy and A/C worked great.Lots of wildlife too! Didnt feel like we were in the city at all, but convenient to everything we needed. Great little grocery store a block and a half away. Also really good pizza a couple of blocks away.

We traveled from far away and could not be more comfortable with the cottage amenities provided during our stay. It practically had everything we needed and more! The communication between the support staff and us was also excellent. The only part I should mention to future guests is the fact the property is located very close to where the San Diego Airport planes land and take off. We can hear planes over our heads all day long, in which can be a bit disturbing when sitting outdoors and enjoying the backyard.

Really enjoyed this property. The backyard is stunning. The place was extremely clean and well-maintained. Good location with lots of options to walk to.

Wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage! The location was perfect - just a short walk to Balboa Park and close to great restaurants and shops. The private yard was a peaceful bonus. The cottage itself was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. We’d definitely stay here again!
