100 year old Farm Cottage. Minutes from the beach!

Just like it says it's a 100 year old cottage with a games room and plenty of space for my 3 kids. The kids stayed in the upper floor - note there are steeper than normal steps leading upstairs but my boys didn't mind. Plenty of attention to details throughout the house with all of modern comforts of home. Good central location close to Nanaimo for all of your day trips.

This is such a fantastic place to stay. Lots to do for families at the property. Games room is excellent. Lots of nearby hikes. Short drive to ferry terminal and the Nanaimo area. Host is very accommodating. Glad we stayed at this property.

The farmhouse was absolutely lovely! It was just what we needed to relax and enjoy some time away. All the little details and decor were carefully thought out. It seemed like it had everything we needed for cooking. The beds and couches were comfortable. It was so relaxing and we loved staying there! If you are going in winter, you may want to remember to bring slippers with you.

The cottage was a great base for our family while we stayed in the area for a wedding. It was comfortable and clean with a well stocked kitchen. Lacy was very responsive. Our kids loved the games room and saying hello to the horse.

Christmas in the cottage! It was easy because the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for a festive dinner. The cottage was clean and comfortable, the games room would have been fun but it was quite chilly out so didn't spend much time out there. This is a great place for a family to stay and would highly recommend it.

Great quiet place to gather in fall/winter when the weather means you want to spend more time indoors. Very authentic old house but has all the necessary updates. The stairs to bedrooms are extremely steep - I'd be nervous of some kids around them. The host has clearly put a lot of work into it - lots of extra touches to make it homey.

Super clean and organized, amazing location, lovely host re: communication.As other reviews say, the stairs are extremely steep. Also felt like the upstairs were not really bedrooms, it was more like the upstairs double bed room is like a doorless bedroom and and the single beds are right there, at the top of the steps.You need to walk past them to access the other double bed room.Still - the place is well worth the price, and we will likely be back one day.

Lovely little getaway cottage for 4 generations of family. Just as advertised. Very well equipped. The kids loved the games room. Stairs to upper floor narrow and steep so be cautious. Granny slept on the main floor! Thanks we will come again.

Super cute and beautiful property. Has all you need except air conditioning upstairs. It gets really hot in the summer.

Great property and communcation was excellent. Ronnie the horse was an excellent neighbor and a kid favorite. Very quiet neighborhood and the house is cozy and well supplied with amenities. The stairs to the second floor are steep but to be expected on an old home. It can get quite hot upstairs in the hot summer days. The downstairs temperature is perfect. Would stay again for sure.

Cozy little cottage where you find everything You need to have a good time including a washingmachine, a flattop bbq and a Gaming room with table-Soccer, airhockey and many more. Everything was nice and clean and every room was decorated lovely. The host are absolutely amazing and we had the best time we could possibly have!Our recommendation: have some nice days there!!!!

Everything was great! Check in was simple and the kitchen was charming.The hosts took care of us by bringing us flashlights during a power outage. We had a great time in a lovely rural setting.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was clean and unique! My daughter lived watching the bunnies and hummingbirds. It is an old house so be prepared for creaky floors and bed, which added to the charm, for me. It was a bit of a drive when we wanted to go sight-seeing but I feel that that was fairly reflected in the price! Beautiful area and wonderful trip.

Wonderful location, charming cottage!

We had a wonderful time in your little cottage. It was the perfect size for the three of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated the random blankets to cozy up with in the mornings. We walked to the water (might drive to the park next time) but it was doable. The little boat launch beach had the most interesting rocks and sea glass. It was close to everywhere we were going and you could pick up a bottle of wine at the liquor/gas station on your way in. We felt very safe staying here well off the road and into the property with the other homes close by. Thanks for the fun stay.

My wife and I stayed 6 nights. One night was our family Christmas dinner. There was 12 of us, including 5 grandkids. All ages enjoyed the games room. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner was very helpful and prompt to respond.

This cottage was so cozy and perfect for a girls’ getaway to celebrate an upcoming wedding. Seeing the horse from the back window was a special treat!

Lovely cottage. Very clean and modern remodel.comfortable beds. The stairs to the upper two sleeping areas has a very narrow tread so a little scary but manageable. Would come back again.

We loved staying at this cute farmhouse cottage. Well supplied, super cozy, plenty of room for everyone! Never stayed anywhere else a clean and tidy as this place.

The Location is in a quiet neighbourhood close to a General Store, close to a nice beach. Very clean properties we had all the amenaties required. I would recommand this location.

Extremely charming property with fun amenities. We loved the game room and well kept kitchen, and the surrounding area is beautiful. One of the beds was somewhat uncomfortably rickety and the attic rooms were were rather warm in the summer heat, but everything else about the place was above and beyond. We had great interactions with the managers and all of their animals. Without doubt, we'd stay again! Absolutely worth the price point.

This was a fantastic getaway to end summer! Close enough, yet far enough away from the bustle of Nanaimo. The cottage was tastefully decorated, had everything we needed and the games room provided endless entertainment....as did the resident horse!

Great stay! Quaint house with wonderful personality. Games room was great fun. Grill is amazing. Great place to call home base while exploring the Island.
