Coffee on the front porch, watching the sunsets, and being visited by the resident farm dogs. These are the top things guests enjoy during their time at this two bedroom farmhouse style cottage.

This quaint, two bedroom cottage is located on a piece of land that lies in the rolling, bluegrass covered hills of Kentucky. It is a place where the fireflies beckon children to come and play a game of chase; where a babbling brook whispers “come and explore”.

We live on thesame property as the cottage so we will probably see each other at least once. We would love to chat if both of our schedules allow!

There is off street parking next to the cottage with enough space for at least two vehicles. House is entered via a keyless lock. You will receive the code shortly before your stay.

There is a piece of land that lies in the rolling, bluegrass covered hills of Kentucky that reminds one of days gone by. This land, land that was created with loving curves and soft edges, teaches us to rest, to enjoy, to trade screens for sunsets and phones for fresh air.

We hope you find the joy and grace that leads to thanksgiving while you are here!

**Need to Know Information Before you Book**
1. This cottage is located on 100 acres, some of which you will have access to. There is a lot to explore; including a walking trail, a creek to wade in, a picnic spot with swing and ninja line and just the overall beauty of God's creation. All of this is to be enjoyed at your own pace and your own risk.
2. This land is our home, as well as home to two other households. We ask that you respect the area around these homes by staying on marked trails. There are also two other vacation rentals on the same ridge as this house. Please be respectful of their space as well.
3. There are two dogs and three cats on the property. All four are friendly and likely to show up around the cottage at some point during your stay. If they become a nuisance please do not hesitate to let us know.
4. This rural setting comes with a lot of perks and a few drawbacks.
The road to the property is a small, winding country road. In the six years we have lived here, we have never been snowed in but that is a possibility during the winter months.
The property is serene and quiet 90% of the time. However, potential noises include; neighbors riding their four wheelers, gunshots from other farms, and loud vehicles on the road. The beauty of our land is that all of these occur a fair distance from the cottage and is often little more than background noise.
5. One of the rooms has four single beds. This consists of two twin beds, both of which have a twin size trundle with them.

I was able to stay here for a week to use as a base for seeing the Ark and Creation museum as well as visit some other attractions and I really enjoyed my time. It was nice and quiet and just a lovely time.

Excellent stay as always and everything was perfect. We had 4 adults for four nights and probably could’ve used extra toilet paper but what was available was just enough. I recommend having a couple extra toilet paper rolls for guests in case they may need them. I don’t know why but we couldn’t get the washer to use cold water settings. It seemed like it only had hot water because the clothes were hot when the cycle was done. We used the can opener that was provided and we had trouble using it because it’s worn out. I recommend getting a new one. All else was PERFECT!! The coffee that is provided was so delicious! I don’t know what brand it was but it was so good! Thanks so much for what you do!!

I could not get over how kind the owners were and how beautiful this place was. it was so nice, I honestly wish I could live there permanently. The amenities were amazing. The place was clean. The furniture was set up like a showroom. The owners were also amazing Christians. Our grandest expectations were far exceeded. Thank you for sharing this with us.
