1 Mi to Park & Waterfront! Seattle Home w/ Balcony

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay!! All the creature comforts of home away from home. The house was super clean, lots of options for shopping, dining and sightseeing within minutes of the house. The owners are close by and readily available by text should you have any questions. We plan on visiting every year and hope to make this our regular stay.

The Host was attentive and the house was adorable. We walked up to the nearby pizza place /coffe shop (Sunny’s) which was great. Overall very convenient and just what we were looking for.

Hidden storybook cottage in quiet neighborhood. Nooks and crannies full of art and personality. Lots of stairs will lead to beautiful views out of every window.

Quiet neighborhood not far from the city. Bus stop at the top of the street, beach and marina at the bottom. Host very available and accommodating.

Absolutely everything; kitchen larder, bathrooms living room upstairs was completely stocked. Much more thought has gone into providing an excellent stay than could have been anticipated. Since I travel to Seattle to see family once or twice every year, this is where I will try to stay.

Everything needed was available. The listing of shops nearby very useful. The larder in the kitchen was amazing.All the rooms were very clean.

Wonderful stay! The manager was amazing! Very responsive. House was beautiful and very clean. So many game and outside games. We all enjoyed our stay very much!

House was great, with lots of little eclectic touches. Loved all the garden figures and fruit trees. Would definitely stay here again.

Check in was easy. We appreciated Jon's more detailed description of how to get to the house. Be prepared for stairs - a few more than we anticipated. Jon was very good with communications.

Very seamless process for check-in. Very responsive by text to any needs. Fun decorations and random themes. Cozy home. Only recommendation is to replace the stove. Thank you

Jon was very good at communicating details before and during our stay, which we appreciated. This ended up being a better location than we first thought - once we discovered the 17 bus stopped at a nearby corner and helped with the commute to the downtown area. Be prepared for stairs - we knew there were stairs from the pictures and description, but didn't realize there were quite so many to get into the house!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house was lovely. I was here with my family celebrating my 60th birthday we had a great time exploring Seattle during the day and how fabulous to come home to this sweet little sanctuary. Everyone had their own space to relax in. I loved the kitchen (the windows :) coming home and cooking our purchases from Pike market. Evenings out by the fire ring were so sweet and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank you for all of the extra touches that made our trip more special.

If you are not familiar with the Seattle area at all and are looking for a quiet place in a great neighborhood, this is the one. The hosts are extremely responsive and communicative and have taken great care to make sure that the place is equipped with interesting and unique touches. It really does feel like you are staying in a home, rather than a sterile setting, which some rentals have a hard time achieving. The owners are clearly genuine and nice people and that goes a long way when you are staying somewhere unfamiliar.The location is absolutely perfect. The property grounds are beautiful and serene. The back patio has ample space and is great for dining. The surrounding neighbors are respectful and quiet. The house is really close to a wonderful park with a great beach and it was otherwise extremely easy to get around Seattle from there. We very much enjoyed the neighborhood it was in (Ballard) and the many bakeries and coffee shops nearby. Getting to and from the downtown area was also a breeze. The only critique I had was that some items need replacing or a little more TLC.However, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay in this quiet, peaceful, convenient stay with great hosts in a beautiful neighborhood.

My sister and I turned our concert trip into a weekend getaway for our family! My niece (10), Nephew (14), and mom joined us and we LOVED the house. Lots of communication and information about events in the area, there is a scavenger hunt in the house to help entertain the kiddos as well as plenty of space to play games and relax. There were so many beautiful parts of the home as well as the cool snails outside and beautiful greenery! It did rain, as expected but did not dampen the quality family time. Grocery store is also close to the home as well as a great coffee shop!

So enjoyed this place. Lots of nostalgia to explore and have fun with. Superb location to the beach and downtown Seattle, as well as the zoo. Older home with the laughable squeaks some of us grew up with. Fit our family of 4 adults, a baby and a toddler perfect. Lots of entertainment for the 4 yr old. Hosts, Jon and Kara were easy to deal with and very accommodating. Very relaxing area. Nice remodel upstairs Would love to return sometime.

Fabulous and quirky house full of nostalgia and really fun art. Loved the house for our family. The upstairs was such a neat place with a beautifully remodeled bathroom. The whole family could fit. Lots of good vibes and squeaky charm. Jon and Kara are wonderful hosts and easy to connect with. Our 4 year old granddaughter wanted to stay longer and the 9 month old baby slept great. Can't say enough good things. The location was excellent and easy to get to the beach. Try it out if you like some old fashioned fun!

Quirky and entertaining additions throughout the house/ property keeping things interesting. Whimsical decor, along with fine art and rocknroll memorabilia. Despite it being cold an rainy, ( we are PNW residents so were not surprised or concerned) the place was warm, inviting and beautiful. Close to Golden Gardens , Ballard, the aquarium and pike st market and far enough away to be able to decompress after being around so many people during our day trips. Communication with Jon was a a breeze and he was always responsive to our questions. We will probably make this our regular place to land any time we go back to the area. Such kind hearted humans, excellent homey vibe. Thank you for being so attentive and welcoming. I cant say enough good things about this place. Thank you forever. Rui, Bryce, Kenna and Charlotte. We loved this house! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect and the neighborhood was very quiet. It was great to be able to walk for coffee and to the beach. Thank you to the hosts for letting us stay in their awesome home.

My husband and I made a short trip to Seattle to visit our daughter and this house was perfect! Very well stocked with eclectic decor and tons of charm. Excellent location and easy check in and check out process. Highly recommend!

A cozy getaway a lot of privacy for a neighborhood property very close to the beach with great backyard activities. Weather was outstanding Pull out bed for fourth bed leaves a little bit to be desired. Only negative of property
