What a lovely stay we had at Russell Retreat! The place was super clean and very cosy. The location's perfect too, close to the center of the town as well as to the station and grocery stores. Some tips: for us, the blanket for sleeping was too small. It was also not entirely clear where we could find extra towels (we were staying for a week). Pans in the kitchen were heavily used and frankly dangerous to use (PFAS). We picked the place because it has a beautiful kitchen, but bought two new pans while we were there so we could cook. Otherwise, thanks for a lovely stay!

We booked the flat in order to visit friends who lived locally and found it to be comfortable and very cosy. In spite of it being in the town, albeit on the edge, it was very quiet at night. Well equipped with cooking facilities and even a small dishwasher, it was plenty big enough for two people so it was perfect for us. Opposite the flat is a super bakers, across the road a small supermarket and just around the corner a great fish and chip shop. We would not hesitate to use it again.
