We had the perfect stay at Sunrise. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome, followed by lovely edible goodies for us and our dog. The accommodation was comfortable and the facilities excellent. We were ideally located to explore many areas of Cornwall. Thank you!

From arrival to departure the owners Jon and Tanya were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. Their friendly approach to everything truly helped to make our break meaningful and memorable, and the cream tea welcome in the cottage was a super, welcomed surprise, starting our holiday with a true Cornish tradition. The cottage had everything required to make the holiday perfect. It was clean, well maintained and well equipped including a little package of notes and guidance's to attractions and the local area, and what wasn't in the folder, Tanya and Jon knew anyway! Our own little garden as well as the larger exercise space for our dog was perfect, hopefully they will be able to open the community lodge with the pool table soon (sadly current Covid restrictions kept it closed - understandably so) All in all I would highly recommend Sunrise to any other customer, we can't book the weather, but you can book this little bit of peace and paradise in Cornwall. This was just perfect for our needs catered for ourselves and dog. The location, down a quiet lane and in an old farm setting was lovely as were the hosts who treated you as part of their own. We were just enough out of St Austell to be rural yet a short drive to many wonderful locations. Would highly recommend this cottage to any couple (and pooch). Lovely cream tea awaited us on our arrival what more can I say. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely little cottage in a great location for exploring Cornwall. Fantastic welcome from the hosts on arrival who ensured we had everything we needed and gave us the low down on things to do, places to eat and great beaches to visit, not to mention the cream team which was very appreciated after a long drive. The garden was a lovely spot to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet and the dog exercise field was a bonus for us so Rhaego could enjoy a run around in the morning before setting off for the day (being a husky, we can’t always let him off the lead)! We had some great days out including some beautiful, and strenuous coastal walks! Charlestown and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are worth a visit as well as Fistral and Perranporth beaches which are very dog friendly. We absolutely loved our week here, thanks so much for having us!

My second visit to sunrise cottage, enjoyed our stay very much, there was everything you needed and it had a lovely garden to sit in. Tania and Jon were lovely hosts and asked if anything was needed, and also gave you privacy. The refreshments and cream scone on arrival went down a treat too.
