Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved our stay and was a perfect 1 year wedding anniversary getaway. The scenery is beautiful especially whilst relaxing in the hottub day and night, perfect for a getaway from the city as it is so peaceful. The lodge itself is immaculate and very cosey, has everything you need and is all done to a very high spec. Terry is a great host really enjoyed our chats with him although gives you plenty of privacy, Loved throwing the ball for Saddie the dog who is a very friendly dog although Terry did ask when we arrived if we was ok with dogs as there is a a gate to stop her coming to the lodge. Bed was very comfortable, great kitchen with all the utensils and necessary equipment and a lovely lounge which is very relaxing on the occasions you're not sat outside in the hot tub! We stayed in November but the underfloor heating ensures we was always nice and warm. Great location just a small drive to many seaside town and local amenities, nothing was too far. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Loved everything about Woodland Lodge. The lodge was beautiful and the hot tub really lovely - used every night and great for star gazing with a G&T! Terry the owner was lovely, the view is to die for, and we’ve already booked for next year. The lodge is a real haven for relaxing, with beautiful scenery both just outside the lodge window and also in the easily accessible surrounding area of east Devon. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Exceptional in every way. Terry the host was fabulous so friendly but respected our privacy and nothing was too much trouble. We normally find something that we would have done differently but not with this place. Can’t wait to return. The view from the patio and hot tub is beautiful and so peaceful it’s unforgettable.
