Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort 2226 - 2BR Direct Oceanfront Views

Arrived 1.5 hours early to the 4pm check in time and Wyndham told me I was not allowed to check in early. Suggested I contact host. I called the host and was met with an extremely rude and entitled woman. Toilet seat broke while we were there. They fixed it the next day. Vent in bathroom screeched when light/fan was turned on half way through the stay. Notified host and nothing was done. Could not use the bathroom light for the rest of the stay. AC worked great. Beds were pretty comfortable. Not happy with the comforter cleanliness/smell. Pots/pans are TERRIBLE. Uneven and hard to cook with on glass stovetop. Barely any cooking utensils to use. No ice in freezer. Fridge door water was so slow it would take 10mins to fill a 16oz water bottle. Elevators were terrible in the north tower of the Wyndham. One wasn’t working at all (with no sign or work done on it). Lines were terribly long and walking up 22 flights of stairs is ridiculous. You have to buy or bring your own toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, hand soap.

We come to Wyndham every year for Jeep Beach. We really enjoyed our stay this year. Our host Cindy was great. The room was very clean and updated. Would definitely book with her again.

Amazing view of the beach! Great amenities. The host was extremely responsive. The only small thing is there was no broom/vacuum for sand cleaning during our stay.

Items that need to be addressed. Upper door hinge to master bedroom is not attached. Door does not close properly. Door frame to front entrance has considerable damage. Dirty dishes were in dishwasher, had to run before use. Glassware (cocktail glasses) were non-existent. Living room couch is very worn, squeaks and groans loudly when sitting. View from unit is fantastic, just a few renovations and this unit will be fantastic!!

Price too high for the location. Will not book again with this host!Communication-host only answered part of my questions.First of all the ice machine not working and was extremely dirty.Something nasty was on the wall in the bathroom, could have been cleaned better.Cigarette butts on the patio.Master bedroom you had to lift the door up to close it.The master bed not very comfortable.Check in time is 4 PM and check out time is 10 AM, no flexibility at all.I like to sweep the sand off the floor when I’m at the beach. There was a broom but no dust pan.The condo could use some maintenance.The resort and staff were great!

Cindy was great.Some of the folks at reception seem a bit burnt out with people on vacation, but i suppose it's understandable. Overall, cindy was amazing and we'd stay again

Huge property with two towers. We stayed here 8 or 9 yrs ago. Still in decent shape.

Cindy was responsive to my questions before our trip. The check-in process was easy, and the condo had a great ocean view. We had a wonderful stay.

The condo had an AMAZING view from the 22nd floor. The condo was comfortable and clean. There was many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Daytona does have an “run down” feel and is missing the small coastal town feel. The only resort criticism is that the pool was very crowded and in order to get any seating, we needed to arrive by 7:15 to reserve our seats.
