Wyndham Bali Hai | 1BR Suite with Resort Access

Wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

When we arrived there was a wad of dirty towels on the kitchen counter, a dirty sponge in the sink and white dust possibly from sheet rock in both bathrooms. The next morning a sign on our door said that they will start fumigating the rooms an hour before our checkout time. The day before checkout they started setting up the equipment and around the building which felt unnerving. Nothing more than an apology was given for the non cleanliness of the room and the tripping hazard of the equipment setup.

Great stay, beautiful place. Would stay again. Only bad thing; they charge for AC if you decide to pay 15 dollars a day.

It was a perfect setting for our multigenerational family getaway, scenically gorgeous and something for everyone. the units were very well-equipped and the property very well maintained. It was a privilege to stay in such a wonderful spot.

Lovely pools and beautiful unit. I was well pleased.

This resort is exceptional and includes 3 food trucks and beach equipment rentals on site. The unit overlooked a waterfall and a pool (one of two at the resort) and was close to Foodland grocery store and Hanelei town and beach. The unit also includes all the various soaps you would need, including laundry (washer and dryer in the suite)and dishwasher. We would absolutely stay here again.

To be fair, the residence was spacious and we enjoyed a lot about the property but I would not rent here again for the following reasons in this order: - Cleanliness. The floors were filthy. We were asked to remove our shoes and the bottom of my white socks had turned brown within the first few hours of walking on the floors. It appeared as if dirt had been mopped around on the floor, not removed. - Air Conditioning. A/C was advertised on VRBO but costs additional. - Water pressure. The water pressure was too poor to completely wash small pieces of fine sand off our bodies - while we were on a beach vacation. - Fees. We encountered additional fees that we didn’t expect and will be researching these and contesting, if deemed appropriate to. - In Unit Amenities. Yes, eating-ware was provided but not much more. We even had to buy salt and pepper (just not my typical.VRBO experience). - Issue. We checked-in after 9 pm, and there were no shower curtains in the unit. Not a big deal but we wanted to shower. We called the front desk, requesting curtains, and were told that would not be possible until after 8:30 the next morning. It was very disappointing after traveling all day to get there and a strong desire to shower and get ready for an excited first day on the island. Instead, our curtained were not delivered til mid-day the next day. Thankfully, we didn’t wait on them, instead we enjoyed our day.

The property was very convenient to walk to multiple beaches (up to a mile walk) or to walk or drive to the shopping center. The two property pools are an added bonus and the unit itself was perfect. A good kitchen space and laundry made life convenient. I would definitely consider the same property next time!

Very clean, beautiful resort, all the amenities you’d need (washer/dryer, dishwasher, parking, rental equipment), and well-priced for Kauai. Highly recommend !
