Beautiful inside and out, this 3BR/2.5BA North Padre Island condo has been completely remodeled with gorgeous decor. Upper and lower sundecks afford views of the pretty canal, while a private dock gives you direct access to explore the open waters. Close to beach, golf, and dining.

ABOUT THE CONDO

Cool tile floors flow throughout the open and airy main level of this remodeled home. Along with views of the canal, the living room has plenty of seating on a leather couch, love seat, and recliner in front of the 42” flat-screen TV. Colorful beach-inspired decor adorns the walls.

With a convenient layout, the kitchen has room for more than one cook when it’s time to feed your hungry crew. It comes with updated appliances, including a French-door fridge and a breakfast bar that seats two.

Sit down to meals at the six-person high-top table, which is also a great spot for board games.

Just off the kitchen, a laundry room with side-by-side washer and dryer make sure you have dry beach towels each day. A powder room is adjacent.

Start and end your day on the covered back deck that looks out over the canal. A set of steps takes you down to the condo’s private dock.

The primary suite has an elegant king bed with nautical bedding, views of the canal, and a 35” flat-screen TV. Pamper yourself in the en-suite bathroom complete with walk-in shower, double sinks, a jetted garden tub, separate water closet, and walk-in closet.

You’ll find the other bedrooms on the second floor.

Kids will love the sleeping alcove (not an enclosed bedroom), outfitted with a twin-over-full bunk bed with twin trundle and the three-person play table.

The second bedroom features a bright blue tropical decor and a queen bed. On the private deck, enjoy warm breezes and views of the palm trees and the canal. The third bedroom offers another queen bed.

All the upstairs bedrooms share a full bath with a tiled tub/shower combination and a large double vanity.

The ad clearly states the 2 car enclosed garage would be available to us during our stay and the boat lift likewise would be open for us to use. We brought our boat and trailer and discovered upon entering the unit the door into the garage was locked (deadbolt) and marked PRIVATE. Then, upon walking onto the back deck the boat lift was occupied by a covered boat and therefore prevented us from utilizing the lift to keep our boat secured and out of the salt water when not in use during our 6 night stay. We spoke to the immediate next door neighbor who is a full time resident and he stated this was a common frustration by renters and the garage was full with the owner's large items. Clearly false advertising and had I known this was the case, I would not have rented this unit. Other issues we encountered that first evening was a large gas leak at the top of the propane tank on the gas grill that was not at the connection (the local manager did replace the tank the following day), and a very thick covering of dirt and palm tree debris on the back deck making for a difficult path to the dock. The following day a large puddle formed in front of the refrigerator and it was after hours so my son and I pulled the unit out, turned the water off and determined the defrost overflow pan had overflowed into the bottom pan of the refrigerator leaking out which required an hour or so to clean up.This was an old problem. Wifi network and pwd were incorrect. Very disappointed overall.

While we truly appreciated some aspects of the home, I believe it is important to communicate a few concerns that impacted our experience. My goal is to be constructive and help improve future guests’ stays.First, the living area was the highlight of the property. It provided a warm, inviting space for our family gathering, and the kitchen area was also very nice and functional. These features made our time together enjoyable. However, we did encounter several challenges:• Back patio condition: Unfortunately, the patio was unkept and unappealing, which limited our ability to enjoy the outdoor space.• Safety hazard: The step-down leading to the walk-in shower is unmarked, creating a tripping hazard that could cause injury if unnoticed.• Customer service: The only available contact for immediate concerns was a toll-free number, and the representative I spoke with seemed unconcerned about our issues. This left us feeling unheard at a time when assistance was needed.• Temperature balance: While the upper level was comfortable, the lower level was noticeably warm and difficult to cool, making it less comfortable for those staying downstairs.• Supplies: The toilet paper provided was of extremely poor quality, which felt out of step with an otherwise well-appointed home.• Parking: Parking became a challenge when a neighbor complained to us about where we were parked. Clearer instructions or designated parking guidance would be very helpful.

The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. There are a few issues, though. The garbage disposal was not working and got clogged. Did not know who to reach out about it. The toilet in master bath is kind of messed up. Some part may need to be changed. The water pressure was a serious problem. You could not run multiple fixtures or appliances at once, there would be no water. Other than those problems the house was in a great location and perfect for our stay.

The toilets had black mold under the rim and one in particular reeked of urine, so we had to start scrubbing immediately upon arrival. The stairs to the bunkbed were not attached to the frame, and the frame swayed if anyone was on the top bunk. So one child had to sleep on the floor. The washer sprung a leak from underneath it with the very first load of beach towels we tried to do, so we were not able to do any laundry. Some AC vents had thick dust on them. All these were housekeeping and maintenance issues that were not addressed before our arrival. If this were my home I would be upset
